That Abominable Snowman is easily one of the highest-quality sculpts in the toyline. I miss my pink one.

Hi bob,
yes, you miss just the BB pink version that's not made hard rubber but just have a little different colour tone but just a little, anyway no hard.
In this attached photo on the left Cereal Abom. Snowman on the right Big Boy's Rest. Version
However you made a very good picture, Bob!!
I'm perfectly in agreement with Boaconda, really one of the highest-quality sculpt made in this collection, looking very close at the face a lot of details come out.

Cheers fed thought there was one i had missing.

I wonder which of the 8 series 3 figures came in hard pink and which came in the darker pink -

i have a hard pink centaur and leviathan
i know you have a different colour Abombinable, amp and anubis(are these 2 hard or just the different pink?)

Has anyone else got any other Pink series 3 but the BB hard or slightly darker to work out which came in hard and which came in dark

Cheers Bob,
Mimps 3S from BB come in four colour: Tyrian Purple, Light Green, Yellowish Orange and Different Pink
They come in hard and soft rubber. I was enough sure ever the same figures in hard and ever the same in soft...
I was enough sure but not so much now after I talked with you.. you know why... :D about your figure (I don't remember which one) in strange mode colour and rubber.
However I though they come in hard: Anubis Leviathan Siren Centaur
in soft: Abom. Snowman Aemphis Baena Jimmy Squarefoot Orobas

Tyrian Purple... Different Pink

Where did you get these color names?

I'm also not quite sure what makes Series 3 pink "different". I've put my former Snowman next to my board game pink Kraken before and the color appeared to be identical.

The colour name Tyrian Purple I heard the first time by another collector but I don't remember who is.... Anyway I have Checked out fo it and I think correct one.
Take a look this: http://en.wikipedia....i/Tyrian_purple
Then answering about "different" Pink, sort of normal Pink variation, I've fixed by myself. I've some Big Boy's figures and I've seen they have different shading in hard rubber version like in soft rubber version; so the difference is not between 3S from Cereals and 1St series from Board Game but between both of these two compared with 3S from Big Boy's.

There's a pink one going for over $100 right now on eBay, though I think part of that is due to what it is given a similar figure from the same line is also going for plenty.

Yeah, any Series 3 figure is going to sell for a lot, color is a secondary factor. The Big Boy's versions and their unique colors will command even more attention, but not necessarily money.

Like I said before - color is secondary. That doesn't mean it's not important. Series 3 figures are generally valuable regardless of color. Series 1 figures aren't as expensive, but then you have certain neon colors that are rare, and premium figures that are maybe even moreso. The pink used on most Series 3 figures (minus whatever difference might be in BB's pink figures) is also shared with Series 1 as one of the four premium colors. A Series 1 figure in pink would be more valuable than a standard S1, but not necessarily a S3.

Pink Troll though? Are you talking about Jotun Troll? Never heard of him being released in pink. The only other MIMP Troll was an unreleased Series 3 sculpt.

I thought it looked like a real MEG figure too! If it really is 'pink' as we MIMP collectors know it, then you have a hertofore unheard of figure. Then again, there is a possibility that it is a neon purple figure that is being shot with too much flash or something like that. The only way we could really know is if a photo was taken of that figure compared to other figures - preferably in pink and neon purple.

But if it is the real deal then, hot damn!
