This is going to cost them a lot more than $8. Between Yelp and their Google ratings (also tanked, I see), I imagine this will be hard for them to recover from.

They ARE dicks.  But-

However shitty they treated that guy, they don't deserve strangers- who I am sure have never even been to this place or even live near it- trying to ruin the company by posting jokey remarks,etc.....

The pizza guy got his feelings hurt.  So....deal with it.  You SHOULD be in control of your feelings.

The potential damage to this business is ridiculous comparing it to hurting the pizza guys feelings.  (He hurt my feelings and made me uncomfortable-SO everyone quick, post silly reviews and lets try to end this business)...STUPID.  They are in effect ruining many others lives if this business really does get hurt by all this.

The amount of people driving by the place (car dealers usually placed on busy streets)-  I don't think that the internet ratings will effect their sales really.....they might take a small bump on the chin, but like most shitty buy here pay here dealers who sell used cars,etc- they get drive by traffic, not internet traffic.

I agree with you, Sixthwizard. I don't think the internet's mob-justice mentality is a good thing. It's unjust in a case like this, and can easily be misdirected or motivated by the wrong things (we're already starting to see things like this happen over ideological issues).

As far as their sales, you may be right. But I suspect that even there a percentage of their business comes to them via listings seen online. I doubt it will shut them down, but it will decrease their traffic, and thus their turnaround, by a percentage.

Yeah. Not like people should thrash their business for this... still wasnt a class act for them.

Lets say they deserve shit, their business doesnt.

I sometimes smile when I'm mad. But I think in my case it's less an issue of craziness and more an issue of being inferiatingly supercilious...

I mean, I don't care about shit like this any more. Americans have this weird sprint to entitlements. Like, are we pissed at the car place for being entitled, the pizza guy for being entitled. We're entitled to go on the business's  page to disparage them. Bah.

I personally think it is hilarious. If you want to be a jerk at work then it represents your company. I guess they will think twice about being an idiot next time and the company might think twice about who they hire!

That business is screwed, they are going to lose more money from a lack of business than had they just forgotten about that $7 the pizza man mistakenly thought was his tip. $7 isn't worth the bad press. Let's see if the Internet has the power to destroy a business. I'm betting...it will hurt them, probably not outright destroy it though. They may try to change the company name after this. Probably will have a hard time ordering pizza. I feel for the pizza man, by adding an extra $5 bill when it wouldn't of been needed in the first place to payoff the total seemed like a manipulated trick by the owner to have the pizza guy assume it was added cash to a tip. I find these pieces of trash the reason why people lose their jobs over bullshit like this and I hope that business goes down and all those a-holes end up losing their jobs over $7. Maybe then they won't eff around with the working man again.

I disagree totally.

The fault is 100% their own for trying to humiliate the pizza guy on the internet. If they were just jerks and cheap then whatever no big deal but they brought all this backlash on themselves by uploading that video. It's no ones fault but their own and they literally tried to get the pizza guy fired so that goes way beyond hurting his feelings. If the backlash is ruining their own business it is well deserved. They wronged someone and tried to share it with the whole world themselves for internet high fives. It backfired.

Yes, true....they did actually try to get him fired. Which is beyond rudeness. I agree with that. I also agree with the "scandal" being their fault completely.

I do seriously doubt their business will be affected by any of this. Those car joints are relocated all the time. I literally live under 5 minutes to more than 20 (literally again) car dealerships, buy here pay here's, and the classic- we loan poor people money for cars lots. All they do is rent the lot and then bring their cars in to sell. Location compromised? No problem, drive the cars over there and set up a new shop......

I just don't get offended or hurt by that stuff is all. Had it been me, I wouldnt have even cared. -go ahead and TRY to get me fired, but it won't happen. Shit...It's tough to get fired for screwing up anymore. Easier for companies to fire you for "pointing out" or absolutely no reason at all.

History does indeed repeat. How many times have idiots recorded themselves doing something wrong or illegal? And they still don't stop. Haha....they keep touching the electric fence after seeing others touch it! Maybe they can pee on it next time and just end the constant cycle.

one of the funinier ones (that is not filled with horrible language)

I am very happy with my experience here. I came to buy a used Tesla and the salesman said they have it. I wrote check for $85,000 on the spot. Sales man informed me this is special version of Tesla that takes gasoline. So I have great electric car that runs on gasoline.

Thank you F&R!!!! You have customer for life!

Funny that people can donate to this, but not local schools, which could teach kids to not grow up and be like these guys.

It Does suck that some people choose to spend their money on dumb things rather than things that could help people. I also know that we all buy toys constantly and I know tons of us are not donating to schools either. One other things is really our taxes should be put towards schools more as opposed to giving some murderer internet access and a TV!
