Just got the wrestling ring, great condition considering its a 29 year old toy and what I paid for it. Stickers are fresh- not peeling in the bit. The board in the bottom is a bit scratched up and the blue knob is loose, but that play damage is to be expected taking in its age. However my only real gripe is that its missing the boundary ropes. Its not a terrible issue- if need be ill just throw some rubber bands around it no issue. However id like to get it as close as possible to how it originally looked. Can anybody here help me with that? is it an easy to find material? Is there something close to it that i can obtain? Any and all suggestions will be great. Thanks!
Need help with wrestling ring.

I would get rope-elastic from the fabric store. The you* can then cut it to length, as needed.

I mean, it should... Pretty much everybody from the WWE to Greenbrier International uses that method for their ring ropes.

Wasn't there somebody that found "hobby" rubber bands that fit perfectly?
I feel like there was a thread about it. And when people pushed for the name/store/info they wouldn't share it. I'll have to dig and see if I can find it.

Worked well, thanks!
Going back to grab a thicker rope and see if it looks better though.

If memory serves me correctly, the ring originally came with metallic silver "ropes" that were about 1/8" diameter. They had a woven outer shell (sort of like paracord) and a degree of elasticity. Should you be able to find another ring with at least one intact original rope cheaply enough, you could use that as a reference. The second ring, at worst, would also be a potentially valuable parts source.
By the way, your pictures don't seem to be working.
