Ahhhh, these guys. What an impression they made on me back then! Jamming peanut butter & jelly sandwiches down their throats, tossing them into the ocean, having them mutilate my Star Wars figures, etc.,etc....few things in this life have given me as much unadulterated joy.
That these molds are still being utilized today should say something about these insane bastards!

Dude are those all yours?!?!? That is epic man! I have one blue one and one of the orange "spikey" ones. One of these came in one of my favorite playsets from back in the day "Dragon Crest" from Miner toys. It had a bunch of the MPC monster figures in the set too...basically knights vs monsters with a dragon to boot. Awesome.

In a playset?! Cooooool.
They are all mine, yep. They are CURRENT versions, keep in mind, not originals from the 70s/80s. (A few of my childhood originals are in that pile, though...watch for slight paint variations.) Spikey red/pink always reminded me of a Sesame Street amalgam, and the blue dude looks JUST like Beetlejuice from the Stern Show! "Who, ME?"
Eventually I want to have a repro box commissioned. If you haven't seen it, you should, it's badass. I used to drool over this as a kid, barely able to see over the counter it sat on. I bet that a few guys here could really do this original art some justice....
Fun fact: On another shipping box of knockoff monsters, ones made by Tomland, it boldly states 'CREATURES FORM OTHER WORLDS'. lol They sure do, they sure do....

Wow man, that box is great! That would be an amazing thing to have. My blue one is vintage original...but I don't think the spikey one is. Were any of the spikey ones vintage? I see some in this guys box but they seem to be different than the one I have.
Tomland toys are the total f'ing shit too btw. I would love to get some of those!
Cool, thanks for showing that! I see the green lizard-fish Ugly standing by the drawbridge!
Look at that classic mushroom hairstyle! lol
The 'original six' can be traced back to the mid-70s and are the ones still being manufactured today. Colors and textures may vary a bit between releases/manufacturers, but the six original Wuggly molds/characters are easily identifiable.
Tomland Star Raiders and Monsters of Legend? Yep, I got a few originals that my mom ordered from the Sears catalogue.

I have two of the more rubbery ones from back in the day as well as one of the firmer, more recent ones. The pink spiked one was always one of my favorites.
I had no idea one was included in a playset like that. And with those MPC Monsters...so random!

Pic made my day, dude.
They are obviously currently in production, but the 'James Paul Creature' (in cursive, no less!) leg tags have me mystified....
