Well the dry spell is finally over and the bootsales (loads of people sell household junk from their cars every weekend) are in full swing here in blighty. I had bought 1 m.u.s.c.l.e. figure for 10p and that was it for 4 hours searching. I thought I'd give the one I don't go to often a quick browse.
Came across this crate and first spotted the MIMP and thought yeah ok....then spotted the trash bag bunch, then got a few more bits and then at the bottom came across the bad eggz bunch, sadly one has a big scuff and the other has some form of scorching to the dagger.

But for £2.20 / $3.58 I shouldn't complain. :woot:

Need to research a bit more about the soma figures, never heard of those and I love the imperial keyring scorpian figure and he has my birth year on the back of his head :fop:
Also the MIMP dino is a strange colour?

I love show and tell

Thanks for looking

Your MIMP dino is a Secret Skeleton.

This sums up my reaction:

OOO I'm off to see if I can make the skeleton appear! :joecool:

Wow! That is most excellent, the way the skeleton appears is wicked, disapears more quickly than it appears. Thank you strontium. :blink1:

Yes Saltlake. I paid £0.20 for the madball. then about £2 for the other stuff.

But it has taken me a few years of looking to find the 3 BEB I have found so far.

I think that is part of the hobby of collecting LRG's for me is the searching and finding. I luckily came to terms with the fact that I may never "complete" any of the figures/sets, but its the hunting and learning that I love most about this.

I have never found anything good at boot/yard sales. Need to keep my spirits up and keep checkin. Maybe I will one day find some BEB or a purple claw

I have only ever found one group of M.U.S.C.L.E so far, usually they come in 3-4 figures and thats it. Hopefully I'll find more this year.

If you think about the kids that owned BEB are not leaving home yet, so might not be clearing out the lofts yet if you know what I mean.

They would be 19 so still living with ma and pa.
Damn those rising house prices and over demanded social housing.

He shoots,he SCORES!(influenced by the Hockey Playoffs)
Nice find.
I've got the same MIMP Secret Skeleton, normaly I don't collect the Dinos.
Got it in a lot a couple o years back, put it in a box of figures to wash.
So about a year+ later after that, decided to wash some figs and much to my
surprise it wasn't dirty after all,the things ya get to learn haphasardly
is fun,the :woot: factor.
The first BEB I got was a yellow Bat with a club(?name)which I though was
the Rare Secret Star figure from MIMP Series-1,it had the same rubber feel as MIMPs.

'On Sale' or 'For Sale'. It's really the same thing! The word, 'Sale' means YOU CAN BUY IT,
not that it is discounted. We as consumers are conditioned to think"On Sale"means it's cheaper.

You're sure about that? I got a couple when they were first out back in 1992, when I was 7 (intended age group?). I'm 25 now, so you'd expect to see more of them about by now...
