Name : E-Reader
System : Gameboy advanced
Price : 39.99$
Games : 4.99$ each

The good : play old NES games, easy to handle and tell you if barcode was error

The bad : only 10 are out by christmas, also on cards like pokémon and magic the gathering. easy to bend if bent games won't play i bet.

the review : well i made sure i got the one with Donkey Kong Jr.
it was a great game i opened the pack slowly to see if they had that nintendo smell. do any of you remember that smell on a newly opened cart back in the 80's? Well this didn't have it.

they also gave me a free pack with a giant E- on it
it included Manhole (a Game & Watch game) really awsome B)(games comes later B) )

i bought excitebike i opened that up next and loaded it into the e-reader.
WOW i gasped in amazement it was a handheld nes. their is little to no difference. So if your a NEStalgic gamer like myself run and buy his asap.

Great review! This is exactly what I wanted to know about the e-reader. I'll definitely be asking for this for Christmas!

I remember. I think the smell was a mix between the cardboard and the black plastic cartridge sleeve.

Great review!

wow it goes to show you how small those games were since you can fit the info for them into a few barcodes, i wonder if the games arent actually in the ereader, and the barcodes just unlock them?

i think they are in fact in the barcodes
you can't see it on the pic i scanned ,but their are dots.
and if you look at the NES rom in the wrong format (16 or 32 bbps instead of 8bbps) it reminds me of these dots.

remember also
Balloon Fight - 16K program & 8K gfx | mapper 0 (no screen changes)
Excite bike -16k program 8K gfx | mapper 1 (left to right screen)
DK JR - 16K program 8K gfx | mapper 0

where a GBA rom is normally 8MB~128MB (new games like Kinnikuman generation 2 GBA)

can they be stored possible , but not likey.

I have always said that nintendo should find a way to mass rerelease their old video games. There is still such a high demand for the games on emulators. I would gladly pay 50-60$ for a gamecube game that all it was was every nes game ever released, hell maybe even more than 60$. I know they could only release those under the nintendo license, like none by other game companies and stuff, but that would still be a lot right?

most games were non-nintendo companies or companies the spawned from nintendo.

i mean outta 600 NES games (thats including pirate carts from color dreams, tengen and others) you'd get about 150 games. if your lucky

well with game cube they can make alot of games on it , but
why make it 60$ for 1 disk when you can pay 5$ per pack of cards.

this way then can rape you with pokémon cards and animal crossing cards
as well as anything else they can think of.

I'm in it for the vintage Nintendo personally
oh BTW adding a article about the cards tonight
check in on it later :)

it seems a bit superfluous to have to buy the e-reader, and all these little cards when you could just get it all on one cartridge and sell it for a pretty high price (70 bucks seems good)

What is more fun for kids to have one disc or a bunch of cards that have the game.

Nintendo is probably just trying to get some of the card craze that has been going on lately.
