... Ballarat ... Melbourne ... any tips on cleaning these suckers?
I have them I'm hoarding them all!
Soap and warm water, a soft toothbrush for stubborn filth.
All the mimps I've found locally were in trash and treasure style markets around melbourne, and admittedly there haven't been that many, maybe 30 or 40 in total, 4 series 2, 3 series 4, the rest series 1. And then theres the modern ones, but those don't really count, lol.

Yeah, I suspect I'll have the most luck at the collectible stores - I'm about to visit the Chapel St. Bazaar today (Have you been there? It's incredible). However, the find that got me back into the collecting vibe was from Savers on Sydney Rd. Brunswick. For the uninitiated, Savers is like a massive op-shop superstore. I found a complete set of Series 1 in neon colours! So, you never know your luck in the big city.
Oh, and thanks for the cleaning tip, I think I'm definately gonna need a toothbrush for this bad-boy.

By the way if anyone wants to trade or buy the comic feel free to pm me, as I plan to sell it on the eBay otherwise.

I think that's one of the ones I have, I know I'm missing one though. I'll have to check.By the way if anyone wants to trade or buy the comic feel free to pm me, as I plan to sell it on the eBay otherwise.
What's the condition of it like?
The comics don't seem to be worth a whole lot/not highly sought after so you're probably better off waiting until someone here wants it. Well, unless you're going to let it sit on buy-it-now for a while.

I'm not actually sure if it's issue #3 - it's the one with 'The Exterminator' on the front. Condition's ok. Not mint, but no major rips or creases. As with the Monster Pouch, if there's not much demand for it on the free market, I might just hold on to it until someone affiliated with LRG wants to trade for it.I think that's one of the ones I have, I know I'm missing one though. I'll have to check.

Yeah I guess you're right. Although, at the moment I am putting considerable effort into looking for interesting stuff at op-shops, second hand stores and markets. I'm doing an biology honours project and I need something to allow me to procrastinate effectively. Maybe the thread title should be 'Looking for MIMP in Australia is relatively easy if you put all your time and effort into it and neglect your studies'?I guess that finding M.I.M.P. in Australia ISN'T all that hard after all.
Here in The U.S.A., I've searched flea markets, thrift stores, garage sales, yard sales, toy stores, comic-book stores, etc. for MIMP...
Yet only twice have I ever found anything MIMP: some loose Series-1 figures and a single Series-1 checklist.
Perhaps you should change the name of this topic to "Finding M.I.M.P. In The U.S.A. Is Hard"
Thank goodness for eBay!!
