I really miss FOA, and wish there were more figures of that size/scale... So... I made one. Actually, I made a few, but this one is pretty much done.

I always liked the smaller size of FOA as well, and I haven't found too many cool figs that fit right with them.

How much of a pain in the arse is it to sculpt in that scale?

Thats awesome detail for that scale, and I really like the pose. Would be cool to see one painted up too.

It's a challenge. It's not as much a pain, as some of the larger figures I am doing.

I have a couple more that should be done soon, too, barring any catastrophic life-crap popping up unexpectedly.

They range from 1" to 1.25".

Good question.  Yellow was never used, and is a primary color.  Orange or Purple could work, too.  Or BROWN.

Green or Black

Can't do green... Green was one of the original FOA colors (Red, Green and Blue).

I would consider going metallic Ramm style chase figures, though.

Oh yeah, sweet!

Purple, just because it shows detail pretty good.

Also, when did you learn to take good pictures?

Hardy har har.

My old camera had a busted view finder, so I had limited options. I got a new camera. I'm not exactly a world class photographer, but I still blame the old shitty pics on the old shitty camera.

Bastard.

Black is cool, but it hides detail.  Again, yellow is a good primary color - yellow/red/blue, tough the toys had RGB for their color set.  Purple is also great.

It was mentioned elsewhere, but gray works, and showcases detail.

Very cool. I hate even thinking about sculpting stuff that small so it's extra impressive. The torso face guy is my favorite.

I would go with yellow or grey if it was my call.
