Yeah, when did LRG start giving trolling licenses to folks with less than 100 posts?

Haha, I think it's time for Veers to take some folks to school!

I'm not trolling.
There is nothing wrong with making custom figures but if he posts a picture of them standing next to standard MIMP I'll shut up. Its just from looking at them they're much higher quality than the standard son's with the exception of the mold markings. If they're all really smaller than the normal MIMP than we'll know they're real.

He really doesn't need to prove anything.

Especially considering the guy who created and still runs the best MIMP website on the entire internet said that 3 of those figures were his and he traded them to the guy who posted that picture.

It can be the picture that misleads you DeterminedProtector but in that case, ask, but please don`t accuse people for something they haven`t done.

I don`t need to prove anything but feel free to come by for a visit and see for youself, you could watch my collection and cast a custom figure, too ;)

Darryl already stated that 3 of these black figures were his and he traded them years ago to me, they are real, lol. Can`t remember exactly but possibly some more of these are from Members here and the rest off ebay years ago.

And on a side note: If I would make a mold of a mexican sonrics figure, the cast would be the same size, so the size of the figures doesn`t prove anything. The base and rubber/plastic makes the differnce.

And that "how to do a custom" video looks pretty simple but try to take a look at the cast, the sword isn`t fully there, the cast is trash, it isn`t that simple and depends alot on the item you want to cast.

This has got to be a wind up. A new collector who doesn't own any sonrics calls out a collector who owns tonnes about a pics authenticity & then completely ignores every other knowledgeable collector on the subject.
Like Thomas said, 3 of them came from Darryl & the Charon could well have come from me a while back.

Nothing needs proving as they're obviously legit but Karnak's feet are proof themselves. All black Karnak's i've seen have these dodgy feet which wouldn't be replicated by a custom maker unless they had the black figure to cast from in the first place, lol.

Wow, nice!

Is it just my personal experience or is this colour fairly rare no matter what the sculpt? I know that sounds odd but i only ever see maybe tengu, gremlin or medusa turn up in this colour & i think those are the only ones i own too.

Sure, in my experience not many sculpts are available in Dark Pink.
Perhaps there are others but the numbers are low (not many up on
Monster Collecting). Shame as I prefer it over the Light Purple
which is very close to the Matchbox Neon Purple.

Dark pink is the sort of raspberry shade isn't it? That's definitely my favourite Sonrics colour. I have The Beast in this colour and it looks amazing.

I also think it's rare that any sculpture in color dark pink, the real problem is that there are not so many sonrics figures in sale compared with the matchbox figures, so it is very difficult to determine which sculpture is rare and what is not.

But at any moment may appear many dark pink figures and destroy this theory.

Cool fact mazatleco! Why did they such a 6 months limitation?

These pictured Sonric`s figures aren`t dirty, they have the mold issue some sonric`s figs can have. Anybody knows how to completely remove the reappearing mold?

A little brush to use on them with water and soap mixed together! ;)
I made in that way on my Sonrics and it works well...

Try use some plain vegetable oil, sparingly on a fine cotton cloth and buff the surfaces until the application thins completely, worked for me.

If you leave enough on, maybe. So will acid from your hands when people play with the figs I guess.
I mean buff the oil until it completely thins out.

I gave that method a try with my spare Vampire and it works. After a week, still no mold reappeared. Thank you very much for the reply!
