Can anyone tell me about this? I'd like to start maybe collecting these stickers but I'd need to know about $,quality, bootlegs, etc before I bother getting involved. Also I've seen toys mentioned, are they keshi or full size action figures or what?

There are a lot of stickers, the regular series is pretty cheap. Not bad, but there are many limited and rate pieces that go into the thousands each, there are Korean bootlegs that are crazy expensive too.

There are 4 standard box sets of flesh Keshi that are usually sold loose. Singles run about $3-$5 each , box sets $40-$50. There are a few other sets of smaller Keshi that vary in prices. Some singles can run in the hundreds... There are also small painted articulated figures, and a painted set from 2000 (bikkuriman 2000).

I'm really interested in the stickers, but the ones in finding on the bay are like 20 bucks a sticker once you factor in the shipping. That's a little too rich for my blood.

Here in Houston there's this great Japanese grocery store and back in the 90's they carried a ton of candy/keshi items as well as all sorts of the popular trading cards and stickers.  I really wish I'd bought the Bikkuriman stickers while they were available... :(

Still, if you just want to enjoy the designs without plunking down money for a huge collection of stickers you could do what I did and go onto eBay and pick up a Bikkuriman design book or collector's guide magazine for cheap!

Follow the link to see the awesome find I snagged!

Maybe I'll have to get that book. I've seen it on eBay but I didn't realise how cool it was and didn't want to buy it blind

You got to buy off of Yahoo auctions to get the best deal when buying them, but you have to learn how to use it since you have to use a proxy bidder or service to buy anything. You have to buy in bulk to get the best deal
