I got my fingers crossed that the secret is...

They scrap plans to bring it to the PS2, and bring it on over to XBOX, with XBOX Live compatibility!

With all the times I work on trying to make Muscle characters in the Smackdown Games. Always try to make Canadian Man or Canadian Boy ( can you beleive there isn't a Canadian Flag in the flags)

I hope this gets the go to come over here. I'd love to play as some of these guys.
Beats having to make them.

As long as we're hopin', I'd also like to see a bigger CAW mode and playable Gorgeousman (I don't care if he never did nothin'!)

Here's my question. It is obvious that Kinnikuman Great is going to be in the game. However, which one is he? Is this character Prince Kamehame or Terryman?

I'm assuming that it would be Terryman because seems to be more important to the series overall (probably also more popular).

The reason I think that they used Kinnikuman Great instead of regular Terryman is that there is a mask-hunting mode (as mentioned in the article), and other than the KG mask, Terry hasn't ever worn one (at least, not one that I'm aware of).

That's my question and opinion. Comments?

They said that the game will contain 40 wrestlers, so Im asuming they will have G2 wrestlers. Eskara is in one of the screenshots. So it should be released in the US. Even if it contains more G1 than G2 characters, im sure if they just add "Kinnikuman Legends" or "Ultimate Muscle: Muscle League Hall of Fame" or somethign to that nature, to the title, ppl will still buy it.

Im just worried that the wreslting engine looks to be more SIM and realistic like the old WWE games on the Gamecube.

I love the fighting system on the cube, hopefully they just revamp that engine, that would be sweet. LIke a way to turn ppl around in a grapple so that you can do back grapples more. Im looking forward to it, the BlackHole dude is in, so im happy!!!

Could this possibly mean that they will try the toy line one more time as well, if a PS2 game is coing out then...

Probably not... but I can always build up false hopes and have them crushed! :woot:

Pauses...

February: Lupin the 3rd - Treasure of the Sorcerer King (PS2)

HOLY FLARKING SNIT!!!!! We're getting a Lupin the 3rd game?!?!?!

Looks at sketch of kinnikuman, rips it up... What am I wasting my time with Kinnikuguy for?!?!?! just kidding... But come on... this is really cool! 2 of my favorite Animes (that aren't movies) becoming video games... and me without the dough to get them... D'oh!!!

I knew about the Lupin game a looooong time ago, I lost hope after it was starting to take too long, and REALLY lost hope after seeing footage of the Japanese version on G4 in a segment about anime games in general. Then I actually checked on it a few days ago: Febuary 9th, 2004. From the video I saw of it on IGN, it looks like it'll be pretty fun (unlike any Lupin game between now and the NES one...).

Well the NES one, see above. As for the others:

Lupin III (SNES)-Platformer where you sneak around an empty building and avoid stuff that hurts you. Catchy music, but the lousy control and lack of action make it anything but fun.

SD Lupin III (Gameboy)- Top-down view game where you walk around a grid collecting things while avoiding enemies you can also hop on tiles to make them go up a little. Nothing of interest seems to ever happen...

I never got to play the ones on arcade, GC, PSX, or Saturn I now realize...
