They may. Still, as long as they are color variations, and new sculpts, I won't be tearing my hair out over it.
That black hulk looks boner-awesome.

Word is, they'll be out in January. Seems odd to engage in a release AFTER the holidays, but whatever.

Yeah, URS hinted at and at some point outright mentioned these a while back!

I found HoH for the first time at my Kmart (yeah, I know!) two weeks ago and couldn't bring myself to care! I'd also forgotten how small they are.

Well, I guess I found them soon enough to not feel burned by the retailers, or hasbro.

I'm pretty excited. I'm hoping they keep pressing forward.

Oh, and URS, please forgive the children's(MY) ignorance. They (as in "I") know not what they (as in "I") do.

I haven't seen any Series 2 yet. Just last night I saw at my local Walmart discounted stock of wave 1 HoH to $4.50 from $5.97. Walmart has been discounting a ton of their after holiday stock. Still some good finds left, but I am out in Ronkonkoma, NY.

Yep, I scored 3 packs last night at $4.50 each, as well.

I checked this evening, but the prices were the same, so I didn't snag any. Which is okay, since I had some packs set aside for my contest, So it looks like I'll get to open them anyway.

Hey guys, since i used this site to help find all the different characters, i thought i would give back a little info. I have just found wave 2 of handful of heroes. The packaging looks just like series one, and there are only a few new characters. Most of them are slightly different shades of series 1. I was excited to find a Punisher figure, but still no daredevil. I bought mine at walmart...hope this helps.

Yes there was, there are 40 different figures, but most of them are from the last series, the new ones are:
Professor Hulk
Mindless Hulk
All Ages Hulk
Hulk (different pose)
World War Hulk (different pose from wave 1)
Dark Hulk
Hulk as War
Maestro
Bi-Beast
Onslaught
Zzzax
Madman
Thor
Punisher
Colossus (different pose)
Silver Surfer
Spiderman (on web)
Spiderman (on gargoyl)
Ironman (different pose)
Ironman (classic)

All the rest are in wave one. I don't know whats with the Hulk heavy figures. I bought 4 packs, and found all the new ones, except Zzzax.

Thanks for posting that.. this is very interesting indeed. Looks like we're getting half new sculpts, and half re-do's.

That's very depressing. :( 8 new hulks is overkill. What's the point of that? What a waste of a wave. Perhaps this is Wave 2 part one, and we will get a wave 2 part two shortly after. Still total bummer. Now I'm not so upset about folks not entering my contest.

Thanks for the info Punisher.

Way to try to kill a line Hasbro. Perhaps kids will eat up the excess Hulk sculpts. :)

if their target market on these is my three-year-old nephew, then the extra hulks is a wise decision. that kid can't get enough of hulk.

The bright side of this oddly-timed Hulksplosion is that people get more chunky, substantial figures than the skinny little guys that filled a lot of the first series, wave, whatever. Plus the four new orange guys.

Sigh....yeah that is slightly disappointing, I was really hoping for a completely new wave. I'm guessing a complete set as of now would look like 188 unique figures then, instead of the possible 248 it could've been!

Well, at least we got half new figures. I like the hulks, so don't get me wrong, but I was just hoping for that extra variety. And the new orange set looks pretty rad. But still, we only got like 7 new characters. And are some of these new colors? The first set of Hulks look like a Darker dark Green, the second set of Hulks look like a very light blue, and the Orange figures may indeed be orange.

Out of the characters i did get that were in the first series, they are not really new colors, they are a slightly different shade, pretty disappointing. The orange figures, like sabertooth and thing, are a pale yellow. Venom and warmachine are purple instead of black. The greens are all slightly darker or lighter, almost as if they couldn't match the colors again. I don't think the "new" colors are really worth collecting, I was more interested in the few original characters. But really, why give us characters like Zzzax and bi-beast, when there are so many better known character? The hulks that look light blue, are pretty dark green, i guess they are just trying to show the transparency of the different hulks.

Daredevil and Moon Knight, please Hasbro, please!!! I also wish Target would get on the Handful wagon. Maybe these will show up around the time they release the new 3.75" Iron-Man 2 figs? Here's hoping......
