Also, if this is indeed resin, I was feeling it in clear and maybe just one color available so it will look as close to the original as we can. This will also make it much easier for whoever casts it up so they don't have to make special requests for each of us. Besides, clear dyes and is paintable for those who customize!! I am down for one original and one getting sent off to my good friend Ersico who has mad dye skills!!! I would love to see Rick @ Plasticplayhouse do one of these up with his badass painting skills fo sho!!

Good news ya'll, Muscle Things, Eric Nilla, TGB, and Er0k, have agreed they can get these casted for us as well so we have plenty of options right now. Just ironing out the final details on who, what, where, when, and how and then we should all be admiring this piece on our shelves very soon. Will keep you up to date on what we find out, cool?

I can't wait till this happens as this will be my first complete non kitbashed & computerized Muscle so I am sooo looking forward to this new Sunshine on my shelf. Now we have options as to rubber or resin, I really would like the rubber and flexable ones myself. JMO

Guys, this is great news and going to be a kick ass figure when this is done, promise!!!! Woot!!

Hey folks! What's shaking??

This may very well be my first post on LRG (and believe me--I'm hanging my head in shame!), but I've been hanging out for a bit, getting to know the ropes. Heh, it all started with Eric's sweet hoodies that my buddy Nick put me on to [Nick, if you're lurking, what's your handle over here, man??]...

Anyway, I sorta hate to drop in randomly just to pimp something we're selling--that just seems sheisty to me, y'knowmsayin? But I'm really psyched about this collaboration, and I'm totally blown away by the incredible quality of these figures. And it's all thanks to uoozuman, Clawfreak, Ericnilla and of course the mad scientist himself, Muscle Things! So to me, this is more about offering something I think is cool to the community. Hey, I'm a huge MUSCLE fan, too...and it's not like we're getting rich off these things! It's all about the love!

So, without further ado, here are some pics of Brownnoize Productions X MUSCLE Things' AshuraShine custom:




He's most definitely cast in luscious pink rubber...and if these guys hopefully do well, we'll try to roll out different colors, glowies(!), color-change figs, etc.

Just to add some info, it's looking like there probably won't be a discount for folks looking for multiples, unfortunately. Sorry, deathadder5150. :/ The reason is MT and I are doing our damnedest to keep the retail cost as low as possible--my whole "thing" is trying to make stuff that's as accessible as possible...so the profit margin is tight as can be...

In fact, depending on demand, we may not even offer multiples at first. Production on these is slow-going...and I want to be able to get these in as many folks' hands as possible. The GOOD news is that we're hopefully gonna be like Dorito's: crunch all you want, we'll make more! I've never been cool with hyper-limited releases and all that, so even if it takes a while to pump out small waves of figures, as long as people want them, we'll keep making them (though colors and effects may vary...). Patience will be rewarded!

One thing that you guys should realize is that for MT to be able to make the figures in bendy rubber, it takes almost a week to cure, which means, unless he makes multiple molds (which isn't cost effective) that he can't pump these out in bulk. So getting a bulk discount just isn't going to happen.

Agreed, this was all discussed before we got this project moving. We were going to go the resin route but we thought you guys would rather have the real Muscle feel rather than something that does not move at all. These works of art take time as Jonny said above, but trust me you will not be disapointed one bit when you get one. Patience will be rewarded in the end!!

Sanjeev, bout time you joined brudda!! Nice to see you here too bro!! Again, thanks man for bringing this to the Muscle world and making this happen, we all are super stoked as you can see...

Dammit that first one looks sick guys!! Alec, nice job on the cast brudda!! You knocked it out of the park fo sho!!

Thanks for the input, guys. Yeah Jon: we’re talking LONG cure times here, so these can’t be pumped out in the same way resin figures can (not that resin is any sort of mass production either! It’s just as lovingly hand-made as the rest of the cool stuff we see in the custom world!). Anyway, as we speak, we’re looking into ways to speed up production (duh…more molds!).

And to be crystal clear, folks on other toy boards may be interested in these, but LRG gets priority! Those on the list earlier in this thread and those who’ve privately contacted me or Alec are definitely getting superstar status!

And, Jay, thanks for all your help and of course, the great welcome! You’re too much, man, too much! Like Alec was telling me, this is only the beginning…
