For those of us who don't know Italian and can't be bothered to check it on Babelfish, "Foresta Infuocata" means "Heated Forest," i.e. "Forest Fire.

Anyway, I noticed that Toypedia left this name untranslated - the new tribes are Diamond, Fossil, ice, Metal, Sun, Moon, and Foresta Infuocata. "Forest fire" works.

Not to be a douche, but out of curiosity I asked my wife about translating Foresta Infuocata (she's fluent in Italian).

She said that "Burning Forest" is closer that Forest Fire, which would be "incendi boschivi."

The key here is what is the adjective and what is the noun.

In one case the focus in on the forest which is burning, in the other the focus is on the fire which is in a forest. If that makes sense.

Here endeth the Italian Grammar lesson, LOL!

so: Foresta infuocata = Feiry Forest

You can't rely on the US/UK version of names as actual translations. They are re-named in some cases.

Angelo Infuocato is correctly translated as "Burning Angel," but I suppose he was renamed "Mortal" instead of "Angel" to avoid religious overtones?

And that's not the only re-naming. Il Picciatore translates literally as "The Beating," but is re-named "Hemlock" in the UK and "The Thug" in the US. And no way does Hemlock = Thug.

So while some names are literal translations, others are not!

Multiplop the Surrounder, Hypnofrog the Mocker (HYPNOTOAD, YAY!), Wicked the Terrible, and Tormentor the Torturer are names with awesome comedy value.

*A note. Mine has a very, very, VERY tiny paint chip on the green section. In the photos, it would equal about a pixel or two of blackness. I covered it in the photos. There are no other edits.
