My friend called me to let me know he saw a TV ad for Gormiti during Batman this week (second week of Feb 2009). From his description it sounds like the commercial seen on the gormiticlub website.
Gormiti TV spot airs in U.S.

Yeah, I've seen these too. Funny how media affects kids. As soon as mine saw the commercial, they went in to their room and grabbed the playsets and figures to play with. They've never had a whole lot of interest in them prior to that.

I have a few on my desk at school, and one of my students said they saw them on tv. I didn't know if he was telling the truth or not.

Haha, could be, but I even find myself having more interest in a toyline if it's got a good cartoon, video game, etc. I guess that's the intent but usually the media is aimed at kids.

I saw the commercial last night on Cartoon Network. I was flipping through and just happened to catch it (Or maybe SW was on and I was watching a few minutes to be disappointed? I can't remember now?)
Anyways, the thing that stuck out to me was how much it reminded me of the MUSCLE commercials and even of the Ultimate MUSCLE commercial.
I wouldn't be surprised if the same agency did UM and Gormiti. While they aren't bad, they certainly don't break new ground.
