So I found some Ugglys Pet Shop 2 figure "blind" containers for about 75% off. I'm looking to resell collectable ones and keep the common ones for my kids. I'm a stay at home mom and looking to make a little extra money. Would this be worth it? It's not a very big investment, but I really don't want 40-60 figures laying around my house if they don't sell. Also, would you open the containers and sell any rare ones OR sell the containers sealed? I appreciate any and all comments!

I'm going to go out on a limb and suggest that the juice isn't worth the squeeze here. The sheer volume of what you'd have to sell in order to make it worth your time sounds outside of what you're looking for.

You'd have better luck trying to flip some of the Funko blind box series, to be honest.

My answer on your other thread is what I'd stick by. It just wouldn't be worth it for you unfortunately. Flipping Pokemon cards would be more profitable, but the cost of Pokemon card packs nowadays is a joke.

Thanks for the responses! Is there anything I should keep a lookout for that they sell at the big W? I'm there every week and they have some great clearance toys (the Ugglys were $1). I'm not wanting to sell a ton and make serious money - literally $50-$100 a month would be awesome. I just don't know what to look out for.

Again, the volume you'd have to consistently sell to make that mark sounds above the time and monetary investment you're looking to make. Unfortunately Moose Toys uses the word "rare" pretty loosely.

You would have more success, buying large lots if various vintage lines (MUSCLES, MIMP etc) at a discount and scalping the individual figs, than you would buying some of the newer ones to scalp.  Just my opinion.

Maybe you might have some luck with Shopkins?  Because they re still pretty popular, but it's truly a mixed bag when it comes to the clearance stuff.
