Overview.

As a boy, I had this action figurer I'd play with all the time.
I know Nothing about the character's name, origin, franchise, Nothing.
Because of this, I made him up to be Anything I needed.
He was Superman, Spiderman, A cyborg from the future, a character with all the cheats on and being a over powered GOD to all my other toys that No one could ever defeat, Wa HA HA!

Then my dog bit his head off and like an Idiot, I binned him.
Hindsight is 20-20. I SHOULD have taken a picture at least to stand any chance of finding a new one 15 years later.

Best I got lads and ladies of this site is my from memory description of him.
(I don't even know if he Was a him, yeah)

He looked robotic in a way though not bulky in a Robocop sense more slick like Ironman, though was depicted as wearing biker style clothing.

Colours.
Blue - Jacket, helmet, face and one of his gloves.
Black - the other glove, holster and Boots.
Tan - Trousers.
Red - Just a tiny dot for an eye central of his helmet.

He was solid plastic but his joints were so loose that he'd rattle if you shook him.
His holster was something of a mystery to me, got him second hand and don't know if he Ever had a gun for it or not.
An other strange thing I recall is one arm was just a tiny bit longer than the other... I have no idea why.

Thats all I have peeps.
I'm not expecting this to come to anything. But if anybody thinks "Hey, that sounds like such'n such from this comic or cartoon"
Let me know!! I called him Blueman his entire life, I want to know Who he truly is so I can maybe find his figure again with more sentimental value to me than a 10 generation family locket.

10 or so years ago was when my doggy decided to remove his head. I'm not certain when he was issued because I got him second hand and I've literally no idea what series he was from.

But I'd say he was about six inches tall, maybe... Like I say I'm going my memory.

Good luck on tracking him down :) This will be a task in a half.

what do you remember about the articulation?  knees/elbows or just hips/shoulders?  that may help to narrow down a toyline.

I'm not sure what you mean by articulation...

His legs were ball jointed at the hips, hinged knee. Feet did not move.

Arms were also ball jointed at the shoulder. His elbows were funny, being also hinged but were also able to rotate 360 degrees. Hands hands couldn't move.

Head was just a basic rotate.

As for the sectarurs figures, they look far too stiff.

‚ÄčThis toy was so loose that his arms and legs freely hang if unsupported.

that's what I mean by articulation   :)  Just the types of joints and stuff.  Some toylines are pretty basic, this one sounds like it had plenty of joints.  I'll keep looking....  no luck yet.

Given the size and articulation, does something similar to the Cops and Crooks toyline seem right?  I don't see a one eyed blue cyborg in there.  A one eye in a helmet seems japanese-y to me (metal gear, evangelion, etc).  Bandai made plenty of power ranger type figures that had that type of articulation but I can't find anything that fits the bill.

I was thinking about COPS action figures but no one has a blue skin.

You should ask /toy/ on 4chan.

The only thing that really rings a bell is the helmet, the other stuff I can see kinda fitting in, cept maybe the holster. Anyway it reminds me of the cyborg ninja from the metal gear series.

DAAAMN. . i knew i was on the right track with a japanese property and made by bandai....and i was thinking masked rider due to the biker theme but all my searches just turned up the hero figures which have two big bug eyes. Good deal!

ha! the non artist interpretation is pretty dead on too.

Oh, thats taken care of let me assure you ;)
However I am miffed you found a cheaper one. Bugger.

Although one thing that is bothering me.
How in god's name did they get that thing to stand for a picture?

I remember needing the precision of a brain surgeon to get him to balance.

Mine must have been really really slack.

Would've been sooner if I was on the night before! Your drawing helped immensely but I did recall the character decently, too. Tokusatsu characters usually stick with me quite well, which is why I manage to ID so many.
