So, this is my first day off in nearly six months. Yes, that’s seven days a week. Anyway I have a summer’s worth of figures to sort. I have a pretty good system but the only way I can see it improving is with some feedback. Any suggestions?

Those drawers are fantastic - where did you get them?

It’s owned by Grainger but everything is way cheaper. The bins are good for sorting but not so much for displaying.

Normally sort by color then by sculpt.(all Kinnikumans together, Buffalomans, Sunshine, etc)

Bins are pretty sweet too.

My system for sorting is I use craft sized ziplocs by sculpt, then I use the 4 row baseball card boxes and put figures 1-20 in the first row, 21-40 in the second row, and so on. Not really a great deal different than yours in that it keeps sculpts together and in order and you can find anything you want, but its nothing you want to look at - not a cool display.

The caveat to this is, I only do this for my flesh set figures and bulk stuff. The figures I "collect" like Claw, Sunshine, Announcer, etc. each get stored in larger totes and I rotate those out onto my mantle display.

I make extra large plastic trashcans by taking a tall container some fresh cut fruit came in, washing it, drawing trashcan lines with a silver marker, and adding Muscle decals on top of the lid.

Thanks to Nathan's Muscle blog having all the Japanese names and this wiki: http://kinnikuman.wi...uman_characters

...Eventually I'm going to sort mine into the groups of:

Good guys, Seiji/Justice Chojins

Bad guys, Akuma Chojins

Guys who have switched sides (usually from bad to good but sometimes back again)

Neutral Chojins

Kaijus such as Apollo the Giant (the single boxer among M.U.S.C.L.E)

Might even do sub groups such as Brutal Chojins that are good, bad, or neutral.
