I've found some newer plastic monster figures at a rummage place a frequent that look like they might belong to a board game of some kind. I swear this is from that same set. Not that that's too incredibly useful, but hey ;)

If you picked them up, could you post pics? It might help jog a possible identifier's memory.

Right on! I'll probably hit them up soon. It's just this big warehouse full of junk, and they have s small toy section full of bins that never have anything good in them :D

I swear there were different figures at the place I picked these up from that looked more like the original posters pic, but this was all there was. Maybe I'm just trippin.

It's a scene from a movie called "Ichi the Killer". The guy in the scene, Kakihara, cuts of his tongue in an effort to make up for something he did wrong, not unlike the Yakuza practice of cutting off a finger. Highly recommended movie!
