I noticed there was no post about any of the Kre-o minifigure lines yet (other than this oldie about the Combiners) and I know this is not a big brick-figure audience, but anyone else kind of dig these? Kre-o is filling a hole in the fantasy brick-figure market left by LEGO, whose limited release polybags for the Hobbit and Lord of the Rings series were as often iconic characters as army-builder types. A few weeks ago I picked up a few packs of the D&D series and really like them.

They all have pretty cool and fun designs, though I'm mostly impressed with the quality and amount of accessories for such a modestly priced polybag.

The human and orc knights both have removable helmets, shields, shoulderpads, and breastplates. Cleric comes with a cape and 70's hair and mustache!

The ball socket joints are a definite advantage over LEGO imo; very easy to pose.

The war drummer is my favorite of the ones I pulled, for sure.

I also picked up a blind bag of the new TF Micro-changers and pulled this Nemesis Prime which, looking at the checklist, would be one of my top choices :joecool:

I love the GI Joe Kre-o's. Wasn't super impressed with the first wave of vehicles but the new sets are awesome and there is a $100 Terror Drome coming later this year that looks amazing.

I'm hooked on the GI Joes as well.  I also have a select bunch of the Transformers.  Both these and the Halo Mega Bloks are nice because you can search by code on the back and grab only the favorites.  I'm hoping the GI Joes go several series especially, as they have hidden easter eggs (timely reference :)

Series 4 Micro-Changers are in stores now as well as Halo series 9. Someone beat me to the super-rare AC Skirmisher already.

The D&D ones look cool, but I'm a bit disappointed they didn't think to do any female characters.

I do have a few of the Transformers ones (Seacons!) but I think only one of the GI Joe ones (Tomax... although he has the scar so really it's Xamot).
