Battle Beasts. There's hardly any Laser Beast toys that I actually like the look of (the big moon boots a lot of them wear really ruin the look for me).

I've gotta go with Laser Beasts I had both as a kid but lasers just appeal to me more.

While I like the Laser Beasts, there is such a greater variety with the Battle Beasts. They all have their own personalized weapon not just a gun (yes, I know the guns are different but they are still just a gun). I love the image of White Leo with a sword or Gargatuan Gorilla with his axe. Battle Beasts for me!

LB simply can NOT beat BB as most ppl here played with BB as a child.
It's just like ask you "who is more prrety? The girl sit beside you at class in 3rd grade, or the models on TV today"

Having never owned them as a kid heres a newb perspective...
Laser Beast look like a great concept (Scope Cougar for example) but the execution compared to the rank and file Battle Beast just isnt up to the BB level.
Id choose BB.

Divide & conquer works because of attachments people make to push-button issues, individual "leaders," parties, clans, tribes, policies, or agendas, leaving them open to manipulation.

I would have to say BB's as well, weapons are just way cooler than guns. It is way cooler to fight with axes and swords...(and whatever the heck Major Moose carries 
) then with guns. 
And not only that, BB's is what I always had as a lil' guy growin up...everytime I see them it reminds me of the good 'ol days.
