He just called you all "Snappers", and I doubt he meant "turtles" or "lawnmowers".

It has been tooooo long since I've seen a post from you... and I'll throw myself into the "whipper snapper" group.
For me, it falls under the category of "Why post when you've got nothing to add?" I haven't collected any new toy lines in ages so I'm not up on what's hip and cool these days. In fact, since getting married and moving into a smaller place, all of my collections are put away in storage. The wife doesn't mind them, there's just no space for them at this time. That combined with life and work and this site fell by the wayside bit by bit.
I still log in from time to time to read posts and look at neat things in the toy identification section. I laugh at the drama a bit in the junkyard, but scratch my head at most of it because I'm so out of the loop. I'm still very fond of the people I know here, though I'm guessing that most members don't know who I am.
I'm not sure if my job has become increasingly stressful or if society itself has become increasingly shitty or maybe I'm just not as good as dealing with it anymore, but sometimes it's difficult to want to be social and be silly on LRG after mopping up a fatal accident, or arresting a person for the 15th time in your career. Nobody wants be dragged down by that. And I don't want to be that guy. So, I'm not as active.

Well, if you ever want to shoot the shit, just shoot me a PM. I work in a similar field, so you wouldn't be "that guy" to me.

Sounds to me like you're in policing! I'm en route to doing the same thing with my life. Feel free to also PM me with chats. I love cop stories of all kinds.

My dad was a cop. I always find it weird when I read about or watch tv/movies when they talk about families of police officers that worry about they're dad at work. I was never worried for my fathers safety. I should have been more worried about him cheating. Boo yah!

As a father of two, I actually worry about the effect it could have on my kids. It's good to see it isn't as profound as people make it out to be.
