Hy lazorlion,
anything to know about the condition which cannot be seen on the photos?
I mean any scrathes or issues with the arms?
Many greetings,
Dake...

There was two on YHJ the other week.
Think the highest price one went for $450 odd.
I didn't see the final price, but you do have to consider additional charges when bidding on YHJ.
I'd say after shipping expense and using a bidding service this was probably closer to $500 or $525, if final auction price was $450.

this is accurate, but it's still not $1000. One uninformed guy throws $1k at a single SC auction and now that's become the "suggested" price, despite the numerous others that have sold in the past few years for significantly less

It´s dropped to $800 already. The $1000 range is high but its a unique figure and there´s also a limited amount of collectors actually able and willing to spend such amounts for a figure like SC. But with the recent sales and amounts of them showing up on Yahoo its not strange the price has dropped to the $500 range for now. Because the people who´re really interested in one and might´ve the money for it already have one and if there´s none else in line to buy one than there´s a huge gap between that price and the price some of the other collectors are willing/able to pay for it. This doesn´t mean it´d be realistic to keep on waiting for the price to lower any further since I don´t think we´ll see them go for $200 any time soon. It´ll remain an exclusive figure and the current situation will only cause a temporary change in value for this figure. If you don´t have one yet this might be a good moment to get one!

Personally, I wouldn't use YHJ as a true benchmark for price, as many collectors don't have access, don't know about it, or don't want to deal with the hassle of bidding. Therefore, you will never get the same kind of bidding activity to drive up prices.
I own a stone cobra and wouldn't turn it loose for anything under $750, and probably wouldn't even sell it then. I agree with Beastformers, that the serious collector's probably already have one, which might be putting some pressure on prices right now.
