I just got back from a week in Japan.

during my visit, I picked up two vintage kinkeshi (a complete two part Satan Cross, and Dr. Bombe)

I packed them in a plastic bag, and them packed them in my checked luggage.

Unfortunately when Customs went through the bag, they didn't put them back in the plastic bag, and they absorbed some ink from the lining of my bag.

it frustrates me, but I'm not pissed about it. Both still display ok.

Its funny, The ink has completely disappeared from the figures.

Eric Nilla postulates that there might have been a plastic component to the ink, and the rubber broke it down.

considering what the rubber is capable of, nothing would surprise me.
