I'm not insane, the figures from these auctions are Dinofroz figures, right? Help me out.

I feel like this is a seller trying to cash in on the new movie coming out. I'm almost 100% sure these are series one figures, just with different paint schemes.

You're not crazy at all and spot-on. The fact that it's a Hong Kong seller is another red flag.

According to my googling investigative skills you are correct!  I had never heard of the Dinoforz towline before.  Is the cartoon still going?  According to Wikipedia it started in 2012, but I don't see an end date.  Says until present - but then there is only 24 episodes?

Dinofroz World figures to be precise,  I'm pretty sure these are the original paint schemes too. I definitely have that Nautilus creature in that blue colour.

 

Seller is definitely trying to pull the wool over people's eyes.

$2 I guess? A couple of years ago I was picking up doublepacks for £2.49 or £1.99, that's when I got most of mine. I think I even (eventually) sold my spares.

I am seriously bummed that Dinofroz never made it stateside. I had that ammonite in the pink/white color variation. I love the line in general, even when they went bonkers with Combact.

I got several of the eggs from the UK once, and me and the kiddo really liked them.

He still plays with the dinos, even though the new wore off a long time ago.

That says a lot in itself.

These are so much better than the Dragon Froz figures. That king Squid figure is sweet.

I have a small handful of DF figures from across the range. I love them. Maybe I'll take a pic of what I have, even though I am generally not big on sharing my collection, and share it on here.

Awesome!  I really like the Dino-Mammoth lookin' one on the far right.  He looks like a Dino Red Headed Step child... awkward and out of place, but fierce!

I bought that set on ebay in 2012.  I had no idea about the toyline or name Dinofroz at the time, I just liked the figures. They were labeled as Dinosaur Train at that time.  Haha.  The set is not on ebay now, but still available from Aliexpress for cheap.

I really want to get that spider and the bee... But even the earlier Dinofroz series are great examples of dino mini figures.

I think they are, but it's a cartoon series now. As usual, they haven't made it to UK shores, but I did find a couple of the large articulated action figures at TK Maxx this past month, a Smilodon and T. Rex.
