Can someone provide me with the link for the cool clear display cases to display your slugs that was linked in one of these threads? I've been looking for about 20 minutes but can't find it. Thanks.

Just went to Target. Target has on clearance a bunch of Christmas zombies, a few series 4 (3 pack), series 3 (3 pack), and series 2 (3 pack). I didn't see any 12 packs at Target, but I did see series 4 (12 pack) at TRU the last time I was there. Shoot me a PM if you need any. The 3 packs at Target are on clearance for $2.

Its nice, I went to target and was able to make a complete set of series 39 and xmas for about $29

Edit: was meant to say $20 and series 3... not 39. Love touchscreen.

I was only able to find these four new sets from three different Target stores. And I am both happy and sad I was able to find these few.

I WAS going to wait for some 75% action but it seems that the 6 or so Targets I haunt are actually drying up pretty quick. Series 4 is all but gone, Series 2 12-packs are gone, Xmas is largely gone, but Series 3 12-packs seem to be around... but going fast.

I caved and picked up the ones I was missing. At this point all I'm missing is *world's smallest violin* series 1. I don't think I want to spend $10 per Zombie though.

So, was there any word on SLUGs at the recent Toy Fair? I didn't see anything, but I'm not too savvy on finding info about this stuff.

I couldn't find news of anything SLUG-related shown at Toy Fair, unfortunately.

The Targets in my area have packed away all of the remaining SLUGS and they aren't selling them any longer. A couple stores had tons left yesterday and I was going in today to get some 70% discounts, but they're all packed away. The manager says they can't sell them. Anyone know what that's all about?

What I think is funny is TRU still has their SLUG Zombies at original retail price. That last few weeks I've been in there it doesn't look like they have sold any.

Probably on their way to Ollie's or Big Lots or something of the like to be marked back up to something like $0.50 under retail :(

with target packing up all their slug stock, but toys r us still keeping them at full retail....it just makes me wonder what is in store for the future of this line.

brings me to a thought, are there any other toy lines that you guys can think of, that were destined to be awesome, but fell way way way short due to poor distribution/advertising for the product....eventually causing the lines to be cancelled?

Does anyone ever see toys that were clearanced at big chains (Target, Walmart, etc.) showing up at goodwill/thrift shops or is it always a discount retailer like Big Lots?
