All figures I saw, out there in the UK right now seems to be out of the categorys deads, ghosts, maniacs and sea monsters.

Jimmy Squarefoot, Mad Gasser of Matton, Windigo, Kraken, Loch Ness Monster, Skeleton and Boogeyman I can confirm.

I saw Packs with one figure (+card and Decoder Light) as well as Packs with 3 figures (+cards and decoder light).

hmmm, looking at those three packs on ebay at the moment and estes95 info it's interesting that they say 'different packs' which would make me assume each pack has predetermined figures rather thann a random selection.

If it is the case it will be a bit too easy to get the full set.....

...BUT...

there may be some cross-over with the same figures appearing in more than one pack format as by my calculation if every pack contains unique figures that makes 40 individual figures. And that is assuming the carrier/game/mountain don't come with exclusive figures.....

This doesn't fit with the original Corinthian qoute of a second wave of 36 exclusive confectionary figures being released bringing the total to around 60 figures ;)

I can't wait to get to Woolworths on Saturday and check this out! i may even go thursday night late nite shopping......

The one on the left I dunno about

I finally managed to get to Woolworths (three in fact!) on Sunday - only one of the three had any of the new MIMP and supply was VERY limited. Unfortunately none of the packs available had the figures I wanted most so I decided to hang back for a bit - AND they weren't even priced up!

I did take a look on the back of the packs and there are only a couple of figures pictured as an example the rest are just listed in their groups (all groups as per the UK website) with a drawing from the website of one figure above each group.

The other other thing I saw that I hadn't seen on ebay or the MIMP website was a different decoder - in the shape of what seems to be a club (like a cave man's/ogre's)

As soon as I see the Swamp Beast though he is coming home with me.....

I've never really been too big a MIMP fan, but I'll definately pick some of these up. I'll have mixed emotions if this does better than the UM minifigure toyline did... once again, I feel MIMP borrowed cues from the MUSCLE toys, but was far more successful.

But all in all, I want these things. Too bad another try at a resurrected MUSCLE line is impossible and improbable.

I went back to all three Woolworths yesterday and still only one had them and they'd not even had any new stock in!!!!!

But.....

I went to a fourth today and they had them! still only a small supply but different figures to the other store so I picked up three 4 packs (£4.99 each). I didn't get the two figures I wanted most; Swamp Beast and the clear plastic Ghost but I got some pretty cool ones. I'll post some pics this evening - I want to see if the paint jobs on the actual figures are as good as those on the website.

They came with the game cards and a small pamphlet - I'll post some scans of those tonight as well.

One interesting thing on the pamphlet is that while it only shows the illustrations of the figures it does show some photo's of the playsets and it mentions exclusive figures:

Haunted mountain: 2 exclusive figures
Showdown game: 2 exclusive figures
Skull carrier: 1 exclusive figure, 1 exclusive decoder

I'm hoping it's not any of the figures I want most that are the exclusive ones....

well as I suspected some of the images on the website seem to be a little different from the actual figures - the paint job is a lot better! in particular the 6-armed sorceress - I will post some comparison pics tomorrow.

On the plus side some of the paint jobs are just as good as on the site:

and a little something that may interest Trumanshower from the pamphlet:

One of those missing figures again (circled)!!!! we can see a bit more of the figure this time although due to the pamphlet being so small the quality is poor. From this picture I think it is definitely supposed to be the Griffin. BUT WHY IS HE DIFFERENT!?

a larger (but still pretty poor quality) image is HERE

hey Ironmask, according to the site there is no change yet - Just UK, Australia and New Zealand with availability direct from suppliers in September (although I'm not sure that's how it will work).

In the UK I can say that in my area the supplies are limited and no playsets at all. Also I'm still unsure how the 'confectionary packs' as mentioned further back in this thread will fit in.

maybe I'm the only one??

I would say that overall I am pleased.

I LOVE some figures in the line and really dislike others. The main reason is the paint jobs.

Some like the pictures I posted above are fantastic, but others like Six-Armed Sorceress are pretty poor. I find this with a lot of toy lines though, as much as a liked the single colour Ultimate Muscle figures some of the painted ones were crappy.

Overall is a great line and I'm looking forward to getting more of the sculpts I like most.

it looks like they still aren't out in the States, but I'm not sure if the new on-line store sells worldwide or just here in UK?

Corinthian Shop

The site shows some nice close ups of all the packaging and accessories and also lets us know which exclusive figures come with which sets

I've just been trying to register so I can finally pick up the Swamp Beast but the site is running painfully slow at the moment....
