All credit for the pic goes to him

He also referred to them being from FANG OF THE SUN DOUGRAM anime series

Have 5 hard plastic robots in red and blue designs, All have open back designs for possibly attaching to something? All have large peg holes in both feet (like pencil top holes)

approx 5.5cm high and

stamped Hong Kong. I've established there not the Ro-gun robots already so I assume a cheaper knock-off.

Any help to identify these would be really appreciated.

i’ve asked myself to no avail, some info is available in the earlier thread but nothing concrete. the id on these things elude me too!

i’m very curious about them and have speculated that they might be some sort of dougram ripoff and that the holes in the back might have fit a backpack of some kind. All i’ve seen in that they pop up occasionally in rogun robot lots but i have yet to see any carded evidence of the origin.

Your thoughts are pretty much the same as mine, I have a vague recollection of a type of robot (possibly these) in a long tube rather than a tub, but I might have the wrong robots of course. They were definately on a market stall (so presumably cheap) what ever they were.

interestingly, it looks like they were part of something bigger. It looks like there is a port for something to plug into.

yes! awesome to have that mystery finally resolved! i had seen the flat bed truck and plastic helicopter as well floating around the internet and they are direct rips from dougram. the reds and blues were slightly different so i wasnt sure they were from the same set. awesome job!
