After setting out for a flesh set, which seems like a half life time ago, and competing it, I looked to new ways to embrace my love for MUSCLE figures. I had seen all the glorious color sets of individual figures that other members had put together and thought it would be great to achieve the same feat with my own favorite MUSCLE figure, Harigorasu #136. This task began nearly 4 years ago.

It wasn't easy, nor cheap, but with the help of several great members here I have finally been able to complete a small toy collecting dream. For those members I would look to give a gigantic Harigorasu sized THANK YOU.

Technically this dream is not entirely complete. The red and green figures are customs. I have come to terms with the fact that I may personally never own a red MUSCLE. I am also still after a Keshi green, red and another flesh. That aside I am very happy with the collection and again want to thank you all who were involved.

Lookin good.  I am going for something similar with #48, but I am making the stupid decision to chase Exogini/Cosmix versions of the same sculpt.

 

I'll check my Keshi out when I get home later and see if I have any of this guy for ya

Unfortunately he was maxed out with the MUSCLE and original Kinkeshi release. Wish I could chase some Exogini/Cosmix. That would be great

Yea, same boat my friend. The red will be difficult and unfortunately the green was never made. Is it also a difficult figure or one never produced? Could always get a custom made as I resorted to. Not quite the same but when push comes to shove it might be better than not having it altogether.

Yea, I like the red as well. Having seen a couple (and incapable of obtaining one lol) I'm personally not quite as impressed as I am with the green. It's a spot on match and I had never seen one in MUSCLE green. I love them both but maybe a bit partial to the green as its my favorite MUSCLE color.

I'm missing light blue #23 and it was never made in dark blue. I've seen light blue 23 for sale much less often than purple Claws since I started collecting again, and light blue is a tougher color to get in mint condition. I think the last really nice one I saw for sale went for around $175.

Quite a few people here are capable of doing custom castings like these. Some would probably be reluctant to do customs of MUSCLES in MUSCLE colors and for good reason. They have the potential to get mixed up and confused with actual MUSCLES. That could be problematic for obvious reasons. These however are made with a slightly different and distinguishable material and will never be leaving my collection. Will send you a PM with some details.

Yea that sucks. Sounds like the exact same situation I'm in. I never see the red come up for auction and if it did it would likely go for more thank I would be willing to pay.

Thanks bud! It was quite the endeavour. Glad it's complete (for the most part) and I can move on with my life lol. The chase was actually alot of fun and is what keeps me going, like many others I'm sure.
