Big Boy's figures generally are hard or soft following this rule regardless of color:
NBR 73 Leviathan is hard, NBR 74 Ab.Snowman is soft, NBR 75 Anubis is hard, NBR 76 Amphis Baena is soft,
NBR 77 Centaur is hard, NBR 78 Orobas we suppose that he does not exist (but should be soft),
NBR 79 Siren is hard, NBR 80 Jimmy Squarefoot is soft.
But moreover, I know some collectors with whom I spoke and told me about some exceptions.
Maybe this rule doesn't work always...

Cheers for the info. :D

indeed:-D not everyone here has many series 3's. I've got 14 or so but compared to some thats not many and I know there are people with only a couple so another list might be cool too

Ok Howard,
we can make a new list separating them in this way:
1S, 1S Neon, 1st premiums and special colours, 2S, 3S, 3S B.B., Glow in the dark.

-1S: I think they're almost all easy to find, just some figure is a bit more difficult to find in Nmint-Mint condition because of the colours, for example yellow or green are easier to show standing or discolorations.
I found that Yellow Medusa is Uncommon,
also Gremlin and Roc are uncommon.
However this section doesn't contain figures may be considered rare in my opinion.

-1S Neon: here there are so many rare figures but it's really difficult to give them an order.
NY Behemoth
NG Behemoth
NR Cyclops
NG Cyclops
NY Great Beast
NY T.Rex
NY Baba Yaga
NG Redcap
NY Werewolf
NP Werewolf
NG Gremlin
NY Roc
NY Vampire
NY Ogre
NG Jotun Troll
NG Kraken
NP Kraken
NR T.Rex
NY Hobgoblin
NP Hobgoblin
NY Tengu
NG Tengu
NY Bigfoot
NR Griffin
What is sure is that not all the figures, where the counterpart in standard colour is missing, are rare; for Example these are uncommon+ UC+:
NG Coatlicue
NR Jotun Troll
NR Bigfoot
NP Baba Yaga
NY Griffin
NP The Monster
NG Manticore
NP Manticore
NP Coatlicue
NY The Monster
And then there are common figures like:
NY Windigo
NP Windigo

-1S P. & S.C.: Here we have the rarest figures as we told before
-Pink Cyclops
-Pink Jotun Troll
-Pine Green HYdra

Then Uncommon++ UC++
-Cyan Cyclops
-Orange T.Rex

Uncommon+
-2SG Ghost
-2SG Cerberus
-2SP Ghost
-2SP Cerberus
-NY Kali
-NY Catoblepas
-NR Kali
-NR Catoblepas

Nice list Fede!

Interesting as you've put neon red griffin rarer than neon yellow, I've owned about 6 neon red griffins and only one neon yellow (did have two as a kid though). And also Neon red jotun troll I've only seen two of, one I got for about 60p and another that had a bidding war and went for a ton of money. Maybe a rare?
Plus would neon red great beast come under uncommon or rare, I've seen a fair few on ebay but never a neon yellow one so far.

If they are so common in Italy, why not offer some up to people who might need them? I know lots of collectors who need one and if you've got 5 just sitting there....

I agree. Why not spread the love?

BTW: NY and NR Harpy should be on your list some where.

I third (fourth?) this. Don't understand why people sit on duplicates.

I'd say they were quite uncommon but one of the most common uncommons. I did get 4 NY Harpies in a single lot once, maybe they came as cereal premiums. The sale/trade value of the spare 3 NY Harpies was only about £4, and even at that price someone accused me overcharging.

OK so they arent common in italy, but you've still got 5 haha, I had my 5 or 6 neon red griffins, and I traded and sold all of them except the one I have for my collection, same with my spare neon yellow trex, pine hobgoblins, you name it. Better than sitting on them without anyone knowing I reckon personally lolol

If he got rid of them how could he keep telling us about having so many uncommon duplicates?
Having dups and reminding us that he has them prolly does offer some sort of twisted satisfaction.

twisted satisfaction?? i disagree to that completely but i won't rise to it.

thanks for some support dax, what I was saying if I get spares which are generally from big lots I've won, I offer them for trade or I ebay them so people get to have a shot at getting them. It doesn't offer twisted satisfaction or whatever, if it did you'd never hear the end of it unlike some people and their duplicates. Its called being fair and letting others have a chance. And I am not calling Fede unfair for anything, hes a decent guy. There just sometimes seems a lot of people having spares and just flashing them around, sometimes you can't always trade them so ebaying the is a good way for others to get ones they might need.

Did you misunderstand me?
You disagreed with me and then made my point.
Are you telling me that the guys that have the uncommons don't get a sence of satisfaction having something that we can't find?

People who collect many multiples of uncommon figures, tells everone they have them but won't let them go is getting some sort of twisted satisfaction from holding that figure over another collectors head.

Hm well the way it was written would suggest dax also thought you were meaning that about me, as you quoted me etc. Ok apologies, and you're right I've known people to have a rare figure and they will only trade it for one certain one and nothing else. So it would stay unavailable for ages.

Personally I don't get satisfaction having spares people need, only if I am able to trade them so its a fair deal then theres satisfaction there of course. But most of the time having spares doesnt really mean you're even guaranteed a trade, thats why most of my spares land up on ebay at some point. but thats all the problem when collectors get needing only a few figures like I need 15 series 1 figures now but if people have them they only have one etc. I reckon its easier to get a ful set of series 3's in every colour than series 1:-/

I think the worst is those who try to collect each figure in letter version too, I mean one green dragon is enough for anyone I reckon, let along trying to get letter versions of it. Just strikes me as a bit over the top :-D

Lol, Stronty, you're always gonna beat me over the head about that NY Harpy argument aren't you?

Let me just jump in here & say that MIMP collectors who hoard huge amounts of dupes for months on end & refuse any kind of realistic sale/trade, need their crotch stamping on.

I just don't get the mentality of it, especially when taken to it's extreme,"Hey, here's a pic of 20 of the same sculpt colour! No, i won't sell one because i don't want to taint this noble hobby with money". - Douchebag :D

Sometimes I reckon a good rant is good, everything is always too nice at times and whilst that makes a good community there is a lot of it going on with having lots of rare spare figures. I cans ee it from both sides, that keeping a few in hope of trading is normal, but just having excess, some could be offered for sale either here or ebay. But a good rant livens everything up;-D

In defence of some collector that make as you saying:
Sometimes we keep different to find doubles to trade with different to find needs.
Could happen that you don't look on Ebay for a while and you've lost opportunity to get a extremely rare figure, in that case your extremely Rare double works well cause you going to tempt the trader with that figure... more extremely rare figures you have and more chance there are that they're missing in his or her collection.
Often they won't money to give you a figure that you miss but just hard to find characters.
In my case I often made purpose of money in past to obtain missing figs but I learned well that doesn't work; so I started to keep my hard to find MIMPs
So this is the reason cause some collector keep Hard to get duplicates, too.
That's all

Lol, Daxel, my rant wasn't about Gorm! i don't even know what's in his collection & he's never done anything to me.
I was talking about another guy who thankfully has been banned. The not trading dupes thing just reminded me of how he took it to the extreme & got immense satisfaction from hoarding hundreds of spares & got a rise out of people by being a arsehole.

In any case, i've already got a NR Jotun, just thought i'd have a laugh as i missed the party while i was working, lol.

haha yeh that was extreme the amount of figures that person had. I mean who'd need 10+ versions of each of the 12 pack display boxes they released?
