It's not one of the 1986 "Water Squirters" the only ones produced were Slobulus, Oculus Orbas, and Screemin' Meemie. What I think you may have is one of the discontinued 'rubber' series 1 madballs from 1985. When the series 1 Madballs were first issued they were rubber, not the 'nerf like' material. There were complaints from parents of kids getting hurt so they switched to the softer material for the remainder of series 1 and then all of series 2. If I'm correct what you have is considered a 'prize' in the madball collecting world:)
Biz..your's appears to be a knockoff of a 'Spit Ball'

Okay, this explains why I have two Aarghs which are made out of different material.
Thank you, this has been driving me mad for years!

Jackson is spot on in what he just said, they were initially produced as a rubber ball, injuries and complaints lead to Madballs's conversion to a Nerf-like foam
.. Thats a super rare madball you have there, congrats..

Since I mentioned them I thought I'd post a picture of my Aarghs.

Rarity aside, the hollow plastic Madballs are superior items in their own right, as they retain their paint apps much better than the foam ones.

@limey, can you show me a pic of the back of the madballs? I want to see the label. Are they made from Korea or Taiwan? Thanks.

Any info on these bad boys?
Questions:
Posted on ebay as Rubber Madballs.. could these be the look of the first ever released rubber Madballs on-card? Or bootleg?
Names are not on the card...
The one on the bottom right has a different description calling the ball a "Crazyball" instead of a "Madball" unlike the others...
Any info would be great.

Did anyone on this board win this auction? I got outbid.
Would be interested in working out something to get my hands on one of these guys if they are in fact made of rubber.

Hey all - I just started a new topic with this in, but this seems to be the place for madball experts!
So....
Can anyone tell me who these two ugly chaps are, please?
They are rubbery and when you squeeze them they make a high pitched squeaky sound! They each have 'Made in Taiwan' on the bottom, the three-eyed one has a small number 51 on the bottom and the other one has a small number 9 on the bottom.
Any ideas? Thanks so much!

Am I correct with the following statements?
#1 - the rubber versions are stamped made in China vs the foam versions being stamped made in Taiwan?
#2 - the rubber versions are slightly smaller than the foam ones?
#3 - the rubber ones are hollow?
#4 - the rubber ones have a slightly different paint scheme
#5 the rubber ones seem to be more common in the UK?
Thanks in advance guys

I'm now going to rehash an old thread to get some confirmation on the rubber series 1 madballs.

#1 You can find foam ones stamped with either Taiwan or Korea; I've never seen a foam one marked China
#5 That's where I see most of them coming from when they show up on eBay

All rubber
Yes I've seen this one but 1 feedback point with 3 negatives scares me......
