Check out the Joe Higashi and Billy Cane kinkeshi!

I won these guys on eBay after finding them with a random search for SNK collectibles. I have never seen these before and as a fan of old school SNK/Neo-Geo games I simply had to have them! They are almost identical in texture to Kinnikuman keshi. My question is, does anyone know anything about these guys? Like how many more were made, are they rare, and does anyone know where to get more?

Yeah they do! They look a lot better now that I cleaned them up and hit them a few times with a Magic Eraser. All the marks from the picture are gone now, I'll have to take a new picture when I get the chance. The one in my post is actually from the auction. I managed to get these for $0.99 which makes them even cooler for me!

Since you know about SNK games, do you know the one where you could choose from three people and one had a sword...

and it was like Final Fight?

If not... well, I'm not supprised, but I'd like to know that game's name.

Our glorious Milky Way is a tiny, infinitesimal speck of sand in this vast, incomprehensible universe. And somewhere in that Milky Way is our own solar system, less than one billionth of that speck of sand that is the Milky Way. And then there is our planet Earth, one hundred trillionth of that one billionth of that one speck of sand. And on this planet Earth there is DEV-0, an insignificant blemish with a lifespan too short to measure when placed in infinite time.

And you are here, with them, as so many specks of sand.

Probably one of the Sengoku games.

Yeah, sounds like you are talking about one of the Sengoku games. There were three of them in total. Can you provide any more details about the game? How old was it, what time period was it set in, ect. SNK made quite a few Final Fight style brawlers, but Sengoku is the only one coming to mind that would have a character with a sword.

I believe they made all, or most of the original Fatal Fury game cast for this set. :D They pop up on YAJ every so often. Usually mixed in with Street fighter keshi.

matthewf1st has some I think. That is how his username is spelled right? :)

:D

yeah, I was going to dig them out and take some pics for this thread. There seem to be the standard keshi colors plus translucents and lilac if I remember correctly. I'd imagine they came in gumballs and or the 100Y little box like the SFII keshi.

I'll get my lazy ass in gear and take some pics...

Wow, those bring back memories, game magazines ran an add back in the day offering these for free while supplies lasted, you just sent them two envelopes, one with the correct postage for sending it back to you, I sent one in via Diehard GameFan (best gaming magazine ever!) way back when, never got my toy though, guess I was too late...

I'd love to see them for sure. Fatal Fury is my favorite game series, I'd love to find some more of these. How much do they usually sell for anyways?

Most keshi figures are pretty reasonable in price. It's just the bidding service fees, and shipping from overseas that kills you. Most of the keshis I bought off YAJ I got for $1.00 each to less than $.50 cents depending on the series, and how many were in the lot. But again that's just winning bid prices and not shipping and fees. I'm pretty sure you could get these pretty cheap.
