Hello. This is a topic about the Fungus Amungus toy line by Vivid Imaginations here is a pic of Funguys:

pol_pl_Fungus-Amungus-SZALKA-PERTIEGO-2-

First about the figures:

The figures themselves are made of a rubber type material and as such are squishy, stretchy, soft and sticky they tend to pick up fluff and dirt very easily but can be washed with normal water and soap and they retain their stickiness.

Batch #1 comes in 3 variaties of each figure:

Normal

Radioactive (glows in the dark)

Super Mouldy (flecks of brown pigment in them)

Batch #2 also comes in 3 variaties:

Normal

Radioactive (glows in the dark)

Contaminated (marbled clear with red or blue)

Let's talk about the toy packs:

Fungus Amungus comes in a variety of different packaging here's what's to look out for.

  • Petri Dish or "Specimen pack" ¬ contains 2 Funguys (both are hidden)  Batch#1 Petri Dishes are yellow, Batch #2 are red and blue
  • Vac-Pack ¬ contains 5 Funguys, 4 visible 1 hidden, often a Radioactive or Super Mouldy/Contaminated
  • Toxic Chamber ¬ includes 1 superbug (also made from rubber but not sticky) no Funguys
  • The Exgerminator ¬ big toy that is a crank operated vacuum for you to capture your funguys (beware has noises and does get irratating plus the crank belt can rip your Funguys apart) comes with 1 special Red variant of a Funguy
  • Bio Booster Super Set ¬ comes with a solid plastic figure of the Bio Buster (jointed legs and arms but not much movement) and 6 Batch #2 Funguys (none hidden)
  • Yuck Truck ¬ Big toy truck with sounds and movement comes with Special Batch #2 Funguy (unknown as I haven't got his toy yet)

Now you know what they are and what to look out for I'll post some pictures at the end of this segment.

I didn't mention the Very Special variations of the Funguys as they are few and far between and I'm not sure how many there is but they are coloured bright green and are a production anomoly. I'm after these myself.

I have alot of Batch #1 and a few Batch #2 Funguys to trade or sell if anyones interested.

The stickiness may discourage a few people but don't let that hold you back, they're really good and a well sculpted plus if you look after them they'll be sticky for years to come.
