Type : Platform
Gfx : SNES or close to it
Publisher : Konami
Platform : GBA
retail : 29.99
You are Juste Belmont a direct relitive of Simon Belmont (if your in japan Belmonto )
Takes place 50 years since Simon passed, this is also before Castlevania :SOTN for PSX.
This is like the back story for the PSX SOTN.
basicly the same engine as of PSX game
sounds are a mix of NEs and SNES
--cool features--
quick save - save anywhere without the psx save point
fusion - get magic book and use a holy water or other 2nd item for cool effect
More locks (you have to get items to unlock alot of doors this means alot of back tracking)
--everything must have a downfall--
No voices (SOTN had alot of talking which this does too ,but now you gotta read)
some areas sound could of been better lik SNES games, but put in NES sound (not that i'm complaining i still love CV2:simons quest)
This is outta 10
Engine : 9
Sounds: 7
Fun : 9
Controls : 10
Difficulty : 8
--Final--
If you have a GBA and like Castlevania games get this one quick
this one isn't like the other CV for GBA

Yeah, I liked CotM but I really like the ol' NES ones better...Actually, I think it's btter that they didn't put voice acting in a GBA game, it would probably sound horrible anyways...

My favorite Castlevania is Castlevania II Simon's Quest for NES. I am still addicted to it to this day! I have all the soundtrack midi files to Castlevania II saved on my computer.

Simon's Quest was awesome, but it was kinda easy, all you needed to beat Dracual was some throing knives... Have you ever played Castlevania 3 for NES? Now that was a bloody frickin hard game!

Yeah, I managed to beat him in CV3 by using holy water to hold him down, then when he transformed I used the same strategy...Very lucky on my part...

I played it, but only after renting it as a kid. You're right about Dracula being so easy to kill in Simon's Quest, he should have been much harder. The alternate endings were cool though!Simon's Quest was awesome, but it was kinda easy, all you needed to beat Dracual was some throing knives... Have you ever played Castlevania 3 for NES?
