The Disarticulators were invited to be part of a huge gallery show at the Stranger Factory which was held last weekend. The show itself consisted of some really incredible custom versions of their mascot character the Skelve. Tons of artists were involved doing some amazing work and i was lucky enough to get the chance to come up with a version myself. I designed and sculpted a smaller version of the classic Skelve head/skull and decided to turn it into a type of bat gargoyle monster.
Tru:Tek molded/casted 20 versions in flesh rubber and 20 in a halloween inspired orange rubber for the show. It was lots of fun to work with Brandt Peters and get something shown in a great gallery. Today the online sales are up so if anyone is really interested then can snag the 3.5 inch figure while it's in stock for 35 bucks. I know it is less of a "toy" and more of a "statue" type piece but i like the end result and it's always cool to do something different.
