Yo Monstermash. Not sure about Q1 (but someone here can probably answer it, or you could check the eBay). To answer Q2, noone has ever seen the secret star monster. I suspect that it doesn't exist, but I am very skeptical by nature. It seems somewhat implausible that they would promote their product with a false offer (and possibly even subject to some kind of legal action) but as yet, noone has any record of the figure in question. I suppose it's just as possible that it is sitting, forgotten, at the bottom of some toy box of a kid who wasn't even aware of the 'secret monster's existence.

I dont know what they are worth but I can tell you what I've paid for them in the past. I've paid anywhere from $7-21 for one, depending on which 25 pointer is displayed and whether or not they are neon figures. If you're looking to sell let us know.

Neon figures are generally harder to find espesially the lowered numbered ones i think its because they were released later.

Series 3 premiums are worth quite a bit of $. I'm sure I speak for everyone on the board when I say we'd really appreciate it if you offered them for sale through this board before you put them on the eBay. Just a suggestion...

I'd like to buy a 12-pack if you do start selling them here. I don't own any sealed MIMP items currently.

"Original"-colored figures vary in value by sculpt and color, but are worth an average of about $1 each. "Neon"-colored figures might be worth an average of only about $2 apiece, but I've gladly paid $30 apiece (possibly even $40 apiece) for some of the rarer neon figures.

What are some these rarer neon figures?

Thanks for the photo Brojo, that is really awesome. I've been wanting to know which neons are uncommon ever since I started collecting again. Why are some neons rarer than others? For example, in what packaging were the uncommon neon 25 pointers from?

I'll tell you what I know about my countru, France.
Here, the 4 pack, 12 pack and monster mountain only came with classic colors MIMP. Never seen a France neon 4 or 12 pack !
All the neon monsters came in single packs. I think single packs only contains neon colors (no classic colors).
So that's the origin of the neon 25 pointers in France.

Wow. Thanks for the photos Trumanshower, they're really cool. Does this mean that the rare neon 25-pointers were only available in Europe? Do they ever show up on the eBay from American sellers? Because I'm pretty sure there were no neon single packs avaliable in Australia.

i haven't started my mimp collection yet, but am planning on it soon. i have been putting it off for some time because i'm not a super fan of the multi-color aspect. i'm a flesh purist when it comes to muscles and only maintain a complete flesh set saving anything else for new guys and friends. so, with that in mind, which color would you say is the best for showing the detail of the figures? like if i wanted to look at a mimp from a couple of feet away or take pictures of them, which color would be best for this? which color lets you see the most amount of detail? i know yellow is horrible for showing detail and red doesn't photograph worth shizznit. another consideration for this is, are all the scuplts available in all colors? or if i picked original green would i be screwed on some of the sculpts that weren't formed in it? right now the front runner is original green, but if you have any better suggestions i'm all ears.

I personally think that the best MIMP colour is neon purple. It looks great from any distance and it shows great detail. All the sculpts can be found in neon purple, however as Brojo's photo shows, some neon purple figures are quite uncommon/rare. If you picked original green, you would most definately get screwed because there were a number of sculpts that simply weren't produced in that colour.
