Not sure how many folks on here record music, but figured someone must given all the artistic talent I see. Anyhow, have any of you ever done any serious recording with any of the complete package DAWs?

I have been using Audacity with a Focusrite direct into my comp and record guitar, but I want to be able to add digital synth stuff and it appears some of the DAWs packages come with a huge range of things you can use. - synth multi-instrument libraries, drums, samples, etc.  I don't own a keyboard or drum set or drum machine so I was hoping to find some sort of digital option to do it all.

But they all look really complex to just dive into.

Anyhow, just curious what people's experiences have been with things like newer Fruity Loops or Reason or Cakewalk etc.
