It seems Funko did not or cannot copyright "Mystery Minis."  Who knows.

These are made by Jazwares. 

 

They are 1.5-1.75 inches and come in blind bags (not boxes).

They do not articulate.  They are poorly painted.  They come with silly coins. 

 

This here is a witch doctor, a skeleton, and Tim. 

Tim is a skeleton mage. 

 

I'm looking for the Pumpkin guy and the zombie -- because Halloween. 

Though the merchant, the traveling merchant, and the clothier look SUPER EXCITING.

[sarcasm]

 

The case I found at Gamestop was nearly empty.

They are easy to determine by feeling since there are no papers inside to obscure the defining features.

The "mystery" figure is Truffle.  

 

"The Truffle is a hard mode NPC and will only show up once you have constructed a house in an above-ground mushroom biome with Mushroom Grass Seeds, or by using the Clentaminator in a Jungle.... When an enemy comes in range, Truffle will summon mushroom spores to act as aerial landmines."  -- Terraria wiki

 

Ah. Okay. Sure. Someone has been hitting the "mushroom grass" alright.

How much was a single at GameStop? I guess no codes on the packs? I might need to look for a box of these. Both my boys will probably want them all.

I want to like these, but I think the I like minecraft minis better because of their proportions.  The blocky art style looks kinda "meh" with normal props.  Which is probably why I don't like the larger minecraft figures.

While the Minecraft Minis are higher quality, these have a certain charm.
