I figure its October and I need all the outlets I can get to talk about horror movies share my annual horror movie challenge.

Some friends and I try to watch at least 1 horror movie a day all month (Its super hard to do!)

I encourage you dudes to give the challenge a go or at least post about what horror flicks you are watching.

I am really into the weirdest stuff I can get my hands on! (PS if anyone ever needs suggestions for horror figs to sculpt I can point you in the right direction)

10/2 - Sorority Girls and the Creature From Hell (1990)

10/3 - Mortuary (1983)

I just watched Evil Dead 2 on Blu-Ray the other day w/ audio commentary!  It was pretty fun.

If I need go to horror, I always reach for the 1st Romero Trilogy of Living Dead films, The Evil Dead films, Return Of The Living Dead, Shaun Of The Dead and Cemetery Man.  I have to be in the mood - but sometimes a little Brain Dead (early PJ).

I'm not going to hit the goal, but I am trying to convince my girl that Sleepaway Camp is a worthy endeavor.

Might not try the challenge but do go on small marathons throughout the year. Been debating on tracking down a copy of Wer for a while and going through gems in the werewolf genre by year.

Sundown is a 90's Western/vampire movie starring Bruce Campbell that I still have on VHS. It's as terrible and awesome as you're imagining.

Chopping mall and monster dog are two horribly awesome choices. Monster dog has Alice Cooper without make up!

I feel like there needs to be a "Chopping Dog". Maybe I'll have to design one.

Likely end up being far deadlier than the Axehandle Hound, but that one gets to have "Got wood?" as an easy tag line.

Sleepaway camp is all kinds of awesome.
My buddy usually does this every yeat. But he goes by themes like aloens, man vs nature etc. Usually I try to play horror themed games which I havent had time toblast yeat and probably wont this.

I bought the trilogy box set of that before the Red Cross made Anchor Bay remove its logo from the box. Parts 2 and 3 are pretty goofy, but have some good death scenes.

I always watch Trick r Treat and Night of the Demons on or close to Halloween. Re-Animator, Creepshow, Return of the Living Dead and anything Evil Dead are some other fun ones that I never get tired of. The new season of Ash vs the Evil Dead starts tomorrow. That series is so much better than I expected it to be.

Spookies is the movie I try to watch on Halloween. It just feels like Halloween so much when you watch it.

This might help!

http://www.crunchyro...1002_promo16177

CrunchyRoll is offering 10 random live action horror dvds for $19.99 marked down from $100 bucks.

I have no idea what kind of stuff they are sending out but I gave the offer a try myself.

Tonight I will be watching 'Sorority Girls and the Creature From Hell' which stars Uncle Leo.

Can you tell I like my horror to be high-brow and classy?

Monster House (for the kiddies!, but i loved it).
