I think he means actual animation. Like a little cartoon clip. Like this:

Is anyone producing an animation loop of reasonable quality going to just blow everyone else out of the water, votes-wise? Seems like that could be an issue.

Anyway, this probably won't be my final entry, but enjoy The Adventures of the Little Killer Koala. ;)

If I animate my entry, which I probably won't, it won't be as elaborate as my "Fat Ninja" I posted above, it would be something simplistic like the smoke plumes and glow pulse I made for this guy:

But then again, I probably won't do any animation.

Yes, I was working on a game, but unfortunately the software guy I was working with never did a thing.
Here's the rest of them:
http://kevinmayle.ne...om/v/Fat Ninja/

The dude with the big gun was for a contest on ConceptArt.org called "Badass Heavy Gunner"
They felt it was the only entry out of the 40 that were submitted by members to not be good enough to even be allowed in the voting poll. (can you hear the bitterness in my typing?) I have a bad history with those guys on ConceptArt. Anyway, glad you like the stuff.

In case you really like the Ninja stuff, here's my page of products for it:

Dude, you should try to pitch that Fat Ninja game to some video game companies. I think someone would bite, especially as awesome as he looks. I bet if you were to just show them your animates they would be like sweet!

Oh and cute Koala Scumsy. :(

Thanks, guys! Glad you like it!

As for the vial, I was watching the Reanimator (which I suspect is probably one of Theorgg's favorite movies), in which the title character brings people back to life by injecting them with this glowing green goo. I thought it would be cool to incorporate that into the picture. So, the "story" behind this is the Reanimator injected the BB with the serum to bring it back to life, but the beast turned on him and ripped off his arm.

Heh. I prefer the story of Reanimator, honestly. H. P. Lovecraft Ruels!

Hmmm... I think I'll pass on my MSPointilism this time. I can't think of anything to do.

Our glorious Milky Way is a tiny, infinitesimal speck of sand in this vast, incomprehensible universe. And somewhere in that Milky Way is our own solar system, less than one billionth of that speck of sand that is the Milky Way. And then there is our planet Earth, one hundred trillionth of that one billionth of that one speck of sand. And on this planet Earth there is DEV-0, an insignificant blemish with a lifespan too short to measure when placed in infinite time.

And you are here, with them, as so many specks of sand.

Very cool, Nate!! It captures the theme perfectly.

Here's the rundown of all FACs to date:

11 pics = Kevin Mayle (FAC1,FAC2,FAC3,FAC4,FAC5,FAC6,FAC7,FAC8)
08 pics = Tortle (FAC1,FAC2,FAC3,FAC4,FAC6,FAC7,FAC8)
13 pics = Universal Supreme Ruler (FAC1,FAC2,FAC3,FAC6,FAC7,FAC8)
08 pics = Ericnilla (FAC3,FAC4,FAC5,FAC6,FAC7,FAC8)
12 pics = Reccoom Kaboom (FAC1,FAC2,FAC4,FAC6,FAC8)
06 pics = Czarcher (FAC1,FAC2,FAC6,FAC8)
05 pics = Scumdogg (FAC5,FAC6,FAC7,FAC8)
04 pics = WhiteLeo (FAC3,FAC7,FAC8)
03 pics = Ghost Lion (FAC2,FAC7,FAC8)
02 pics = theorgg (FAC6,FAC8)
01 pics = Soupie (FAC1)
01 pics = meatcutta78 (FAC1)
01 pics = DaHumorist (FAC6)
01 pics = mathewf1tz (FAC8)

8 FACs = 14 Artists = 76 pictures

FAC1 = 07 participants / Winner = Tortle
FAC2 = 06 participants / Winner = Kevin Mayle
FAC3 = 06 participants / Winner = Universal Ruler Supreme
FAC4 = 05 participants / Winner = Tortle
FAC5 = 03 participants / Winner = Scumdogg
FAC6 = 09 participants / Winner = Ericnilla
FAC7 = 07 participants / Winner = Scumdogg
FAC8 = 11 participants / Winner = Ericnilla

I think someone has to pull out a really awesome entry to bust up the Scumdogg-Ericnilla back-and-forth domination of these things. Also, who will hit 3 wins first? Tortle, Scumdogg or Ericnilla? Will Universal Ruler Supreme or I pull off a 2nd win? Will one of the other great artists beat all of us? FAC9 will tell us.

Well, from the looks of things so far, i'd probably put a couple bucks on Tortle. :)

Yeah, I agree. Up till now, the GI-Joe Claws was my favorite, but this one blows even that away! There's a lot of great energy and action in this one... you really get the impression the guy is getting electrocuted back to life, and that the process is painful and jarring. Great work!
