Just a heads up here, I'm going to start the ebay auction for this on 3/14/10 for one week. I will make international shipping available so everyone has a fair shot. Thanks for everyone's help here, it is truly appreciated! :)

Feh, let's not engage in that nonsense: he'll get what he gets, and yes he does deserve a good price, but not us throwing around high figure quotes when it can really go any which way. Buyers might leap all over it and go gaga, others might not care because they don't collect pink, and even others might just write it off as probably a sonrics toy It all depends on whether people want to take a risk and how much getting one means to them personally.

Just wish him good luck and to hope for good money. Anything else is overkill and negates the point of collecting something you love.

Okay, let's hear everyone's guesses of how much this figure will sell for.

I'm guessing about $100-$160, so I'm gonna say maybe $125-$145.

You've undervalued the item there. Bog standard series 3s have been fetching $100-$160 and they're all over the place. This is 1 of 1 known. I will be shocked if this doesn't fetch in excess of $250.

Yeah, why hasn't that been mentioned before? I'd like to see pictures of that one to compare the color, who has it?

Troll? :D I thought my post was pretty funny and topical. I do have to ask, what did you think I was trying to solve?

I didn't mean anything besides a second figure certainly takes all the air out of the one-of-a-kind ballon. Even I got excited when I thought it was one-of-a-kind. :D

I don't think he was calling you a troll. Rather, it sounded to me like he was saying that the Jotun Troll wasn't so important to him as to validate the pic. But it seems like your intent on the pic was misunderstood as well.

Gotta love the internet! :D

This find makes me think that that Star Monster could really exist, if its taken us god knows how many years to find this figure and there must have been 1000's the Star Monster could have only been released in the 100's saying that makes me think we will find it in the year 2404 :(

I'd assume either deception or he thinks he has something rare, given his statement about "giving insurance".

I'm thinking it's probably a coincidence and he's just saying pink because he doesn't know much about them. He's not playing up the rarity at all or asking a ludicrous price. Remember we're more likely to notice this now as well considering the real McCoy is out there at the moment.
