what is this hole for? it just looks empty

i only see it on gormiti i've bought on ebay from hong kong - they come with italian cards

one of them doesn't have a number on the foot. bootleg?

it was probably one of these lots someone was selling on ebay pretty cheap, i think they were overstock or soemthing... they are missing the chip in the foot that retail ones have.

I'm guessing they're the same, but the UK Supreme Eclipse set has holes in the feet where the chip would have been on the Mystic Altar figures from Elemental Fusion.
I guess they just used a similar moulding for the later series.

Either that, or they're guide holes for putting the figures onto Guardian Creatures or some other type of vehicle?

They are actually factory escapes/bootlegs. They are made by the real company. There are a few factory workers that have been selling them on ebay. They just have not made it all the way to the microchip phase of the plant i would guess. They found their way to ebay instead..lol :o

They also made some color changing red figures that were never officially released in any country or series. B)

they are typically like a buck a piece with free shipping... not sold in lots but one at a time
