Best bet, when you are sending a package overseas or even in the same country and it is a high value item, get tracking or at the very least, take a picture of the labeled package and the receipt, so if it goes missing, or comes back, you have proof of when you sent it to give to your buyer.
At least it hasn't been 7 years though,

#1. I am glad this seems to have been resolved.
#2. I think it's pretty obvious that the "stone him! find him! kill him! shame him!" histrionics, even if meant tongue-in-cheek, were kind of counter-productive.
#2a. "nanu nanu" accomplished pretty much everything that "stone him! find him! shame him!" did: Nothing.
I am with Plastico, I would like to know why it got sent back the three other times, if for no other reason, as a cautionary tale for the rest of the board that ships internationally.

Thank you for the explanation, I totally understand. My post office has worried me plenty of times with excuses why they kept a package for a week when tracking said delivered and charging extra to ship things. I can't ship anything within my own city for less than 3 or 4 dollars no matter how small. Also I relate to life being so crazy its hard to keep things perfectly in order sometimes.
When the package arrives I will post pictures and I hope everyone else will forgive you also.
Sorry for the shitstorm but I didn't know what else to do besides ask my fellow LRG members for help. I wanted to believe you would still do the right thing.
Thank you LRG family for making this such a great place and standing up for me.
Blackened, please do not become discouraged with LRG or your personal troubles and stick around to finish the Dreamcast figure. I think your skills in kitbashing exogini will very much be appreciated here.

haha public stoning was obviusly not a serious solution!!
no effing idea, they were like oh yeah, we see on the system that the package reached the destination, couple of weeks later, back at my door. No damn idea , i mean the thing was 99$ and i ended paying 120+ for shipping each time, i included a conan hardcover i worked on with it, that thing is heavy. I had that thing happen with art i send too, they just put a sticker on it about the address being wrong, but it wasnt !

the strange thing is that it did reach the US, i saw it on the system at the post office (they know me they let me inside) so this time around the greek offices were tip top oddly enough. been doing this thing for years now and this is like the 2nd or the 3rd incident that ghost packages come and go. WELL AT LEAST IT KEPT COMING BACK! maybe its cursed.

Sorry Blackened lol...
My "shame him" remarks were more for a chuckle than anything else. Didn't mean to add to the mob mentality...
I will speak from personal experience, I've had trouble on Ebay and international shipping before and so things do happen. SO again, sorry to add to the madness!

I never suggested "show up at your house" as a kick your ass for being shady situation...I mean, if it came to that due to the other person's response so be it, but it was more of a "hey I happen to live in the same town as said seller, maybe I can go by and make sure everything is ok...see if there is a problem beyond what the buyer is aware of." Sorry if you took it as a threatening suggestion...I really do hope it works out this time. I know how frustrating this can be for both sides. (unless one of the sides is playing games;...then it is not so frustrating for them.)...again, not accusing you of playing games, just saying. Lets face it, there are a lot of crappy people out there looking to take advantage of whoever they can. I'm sure we all have been screwed over with an online deal at least once. It's all about the communication, and I'm glad this resource(LRG) was available to get you two communicating about the transaction again.

I ship tons of stuff internationally and learned a hard lesson a while back. I noticed that many of my items that were shipped as a package in a small type envelope turned up missing. That's why I almost exclusively use boxes now, even for mini figures. Just gotta find or make some super small boxes. I haven't had a package go missing or returned to me since I started doing this. :-)

Thank you Blackened! I'm so happy to finally have this Battle Beast in my possession!
Thanks for the Conan book, it is pretty hefty and definitely added to shipping costs lol And thanks for the green figure (wonder woman?).
I'm glad this has been resolved.
I also want to thank Eric for contacting Blackened and informing him of this thread.
