If they do show up, I'd look in the Target card aisles. If anybody sees these, alert us, ASAP!!! Those are awesome.

Looks like those blind bag figures in the UK got a series 2. They are just as sweet, of course the only place I can find them are on ebay.co.uk

Where did you find them or what did you search under on ebay.co.uk? I can't seem to find them. Picked up a great deal on a set of series 1 about a month ago and would love to scoop these as well!

Sadly the only series 2 listing I found was this pick and choose one.

As you can see, most sculpts were sold out already.

I'm very partial to Vilgax, in particular. I need to ask the seller, if he ships internationally.
To any of my friends in the UK, if you want to make a deal, I will trade generously for that Vilgax.

So, I got the see through green Vilgax, off of ebay.uk, and it's a little bigger than I expected, but still awesome.

Nice, I think I'm gonna cave and see if I can snag some too. I kinda want the package though. I'm a sucker for surprise packs.

They have the new Omniverse versions of these at Target right now, for like $7-$8. Not nearly as impressive as the Euro ones, in my opinion. The paint apps seem a little dodgy.

Yeah I was kinda considering pick up some and using some acetone on the paint. Maybe this weekend I will give it a go.

Let me know how that works out for you.
What is the purity of the acetone you're using?

Of the new figures, there aren't really that I am dying to get. I'll be a lot more stoked, when we start seeing some more of the classic aliens, and villains get the mini figure treatment.
If I'm going to be paying $10 for two 2" figures in a mass-produced line, they'd better be spot on.

Will do. I haven't seen any in my area yet, I just meant for a future project.

So, the Bandai offering sucked. Eight figures, in standardized two packs... Into Target stores, and almost as quickly, on clearance. I bought two of the packs, but the QC on these is pretty awful. The ones I got from the UK are far superior, from a quality perspective.

What are the QC issues - dodgy paint apps?

Yeah, shitty paint apps, some of the figures have glue spots near the seams that are really obvious... And Shocksquatch (One of my favorite of the new designs) just looks awful, especially when compared to the 4" figure, the vinyl figure, or even the micro that came with the 4" figure.

I was excited to hear they were coming out, as I have some of the Euro releases of the earlier characters... but the new ones just don't stand up with the originals, IMO.

It's a shame, as Ben 10 is one of my favorite "new" toy/cartoon properties.

I really miss the alien rocks.

***BTW EDIT***

I picked up that TRU exclusive four pack of the Plumber HQ figures, and man, I love the Solid Plugg figure a lot.

I wish they'd make more mini Galvans, though.

Thanks for the reply Fe - I took a long look at the 2-packs in Target but ultimately put them back; guess I didn't miss too much. I wanted to like them, as Ben10 is one of my favourite new lines too - I have a big collection of alien rocks, planetary powder figures & 4-inch companion figures.

Yeah, those are pretty much the things from the line that I collect, too. That, and I have this irrational love of the sumo slammers. I was really bummerd out when they stopped doing the alien rocks, and that we never got villain planetary powder figures.

If it's any consolation, the UK Ben 10 2"ers look a lot better. You stand them side-by-side with the current (clearanced; I bought the US 2" for $2.08 a piece, which is about what they are worth) US figures, and you can tell a difference.

I just got the Euro black suited Diamondhead in the mail today... That dude is slick. You can get them off of eBay for pretty cheap, from Hong Kong. Got mine in about a week, from order to my door.

Got a Cannonbolt in the mail, waiting on a series 3 blind bag. :woot:

I will say, I do kind of wish that this line was on a slightly smaller scale. Otherwise, these Euro figures are the tee-eye-tees, baby.

Smaller as in less figures or smaller as in scale?
