Sorry for non-french speaking people here, but to I need to speak french with french people to get/give the best infos about the LB Shields. :)

You are correct!

However...

Only a few collectors own these.

Lord has all 6 (maybe even doubles)
French_Kiki has 4-6 not sure (not sure if he has doubles)
Trumanshower has #98 and #100
Yom has #95
Dabbuu (the only USA collector I know that has some) has #95 & #97

I have offered all of them a handsome reward for letting me mold 1 or all of them. The sticker would have to be gently removed with a warm hair dryer and re-applied after the molding and scanning of the sticker. The molding process does absolutely NO damage to the original toy, however, the sticker could NOT remain on because it would be damaged by the release agent.

I would even go as far as to promise to those collectors that own these originals that I would NEVER try to reproduce them in the same color as the real shields! That way, theirs would ALWAYS remain RARE and VALUEABLE!!! I could make the repros bright gold, bright copper, bright silver, etc...REAL metallic so they wouldn't look like the originals!!! In fact, I would like mine to match the silver guns actually!!! :)

This would be the GREATEST GIFT the owners of these shields could give to the BB/LB collector community!!! :( I for one would be compensating them with customs!

Well folks...

I have some most EXCELLENT news!!!

Lord/Sylvain has offered to let me use his complete set of 6 RARE FRENCH SHIELDS from the SB's to mold and reproduce!!!

I have given him my word that I will NEVER reproduce the shileds in the same color plastic as the originals so that all the originals will retain their value and NO ONE will ever be able to pass them off as real!!!

This is an exciting day for ALL BB/LB collectors!!! :D

A HUGE THANK YOU TO LORD!!!

He is TRULY contributing the ULTIMATE to the BF's community!!! B)

I am soooooooooooooooooo excited, I think I just pissed my pants!!! :D

This is Great News indeed!!! The french shields are probably the hardest pieces of the LB line, and they are also some of the coolest. Thanks so much Lord and also Marty for making these accessories that are near impossible to find, accesable to those who want them.

A BIG WARNING :
The shields made by Marty will never be the same color than the original ones. So if you expect to get replica to complete your collection you will be disappointed. I will do this with Marty only to be able to get NEW ORIGINAL stuff to add to your collection !

Personally, I think it wuld be kewl to do the shields in Black, with different coloring on the repro stickers, to accentuate the black.

Sylvain,
As I have stated to you personally and here in my above post...

I WILL NEVER MAKE THEM IN THE EXACT SAME COLORED PLASTIC AS THE ORIGINALS!!! NEVER!!! YOU HAVE MY WORD!!!

I personally would like them silver to match their guns...or even crystal clear!!!

Black sounds kewl too!

Lord you are the BEST!!!

I think what the others are trying to say...is simply...most all of us will NEVER get the REAL ones, so having repros will be just fine!!! I know I will be HAPPY!!!

THANKS AGAIN!

They WILL have stickers!!! When I remove them, I will place them all on a wax paper (sticker paper) and scan them to print on sticker paper. The cool thing is I have already done this with one of my shields to see how safe it was...it worked just fine!!! It looks just like it did before I removed the sticker...

I won't take orders until I have them in my possession and the molds are made. Then I am going to have to figure the price...as I am giving up quite a lot to REWARD Sylvain for being sooooooooooooooo GENEROUS!!!

Please keep in mind...Sylvain DID NOT ask for anything in return, I volunteered a HUGE REWARD because I totally appreciate what he is doing!!!

I never thought I would see the day that I might get ,just one shot at owning the shield battlers. I also would like to thank LORD for giving The GODBEAST the opportunity as I once did with my Skull Groates. I know I don't say much on the Board. Im a low profile guy but I couldn't believe that this could happen. I have looked a long time for these and it really doesn't matter if you have the money. Even if you hade the money to buy these you can't find them. The last one I saw was on e-bay around a year ago and the seller ended the auction for $300. I bid $200. I never found out who got it??????? I have only one idea. I look forward to seeing them in my collection.
