Are you using it to track your collection?
What about to track the actual (bought/sold) value of Class A figures?
If not, why not?

I actually for some reason don't think I knew about this...
ALSO - how do you use it to track values on stuff? I didn't see anything related to that?

I noticed grape has six figures listed, #228 being the sixth grape figure, was that figure released in that color? I thought there were only five grapes?
Very cool guide to have though! I just had someone ask me if I knew how many figures in each color were made, and I immediately directed them to this guide!

I didn't know this existed but a quick glance shows some errors/missing pictures.
I think it needs to be cleaned up before it can be used - I'll volunteer some help

Once you log in, on each item, there is a "Got One" link/button you can click. It takes you to a form where you can enter in when/where/how much.I actually for some reason don't think I knew about this...

I am working on a spreadsheet upload for bulk entries. Per item works for larger or more pricey items (or when you get a new item for your collection) but would be too tedious to enter an entire collection.
Good catch. I populated the data with the info from the old MUSCLEDB site. Some is definitely outdated/incorrect.I noticed grape has six figures listed, #228 being the sixth grape figure, was that figure released in that color? I thought there were only five grapes?

No. I'm not using it. For me there isn't any value in using it. I need 12 figures. It would be lots of work, without any reward.
But I like it, and wouldn't discourage others from using it. The MDB was helpful for me, and this certainly fills that void.
I also have to thank you for bringing this up. It forced me to think about my guide in a way I hadn't before. I've got to look at my old notes, but I may have a sound way to eliminate the B's...maybe.

I think a good reward (at least for the group as a whole) would be if everyone at least entered what they paid for their Class A's. It would eliminate a ton of speculation on those prices.

MUSCLE prices have been pretty constant. Tracking Class A's are a function of the MRT.
After the nuts (myself included) get their figures, the price is basically a little more than a regular figure.

Yes. The guide is a separate application from the forums.
got it, I'll make one then. Is consolidating sign-ins possible? It might increase usage if users could login with their existing forum account. People hate creating new accounts.

I built the guides from scratch. The forums are coded by a 3rd party (Invision).
They used to have an API that made it (authenticating a separate site against their user repository) possible but ditched it after a few revisions.
Their user/password/salt mechanism would take a bit of decrypting to figure out. I'm sure I can do it, but the time involved to do that is something I don't have at the moment.
The downside is that if they change the mechanism on an update to the forums, I would have to reverse engineer it again before doing any board upgrades.
I don't disagree, but having that data in a single handy spot, versus having to do a very involved search of LRG, UofM and ebay would be a benefit, I think.MUSCLE prices have been pretty constant. Tracking Class A's are a function of the MRT.
After the nuts (myself included) get their figures, the price is basically a little more than a regular figure.
It would also help when someone says, "That figure is worth $150" and one could point to a history of it selling for $150, $45, $1, $0.50, $85, $30, etc.

We've had the conversation before, I am not a super-fan of price guides. But I understand that is simply my preference.
I am 100% behind anything that might help people.

I think anymore, any conversation we have about toys is one we have had multiple times.

What about in the future getting smaller lines in there, like Musclemania, flyweight wrestlers etc...is that a possibility?

Poking around I noticed that the User Control Panel home link returns an error. the rest of the subpages seem to work though once you make it to them and can use the nav

I can add anything you'd like as long as someone is willing to moderate it.What about in the future getting smaller lines in there, like Musclemania, flyweight wrestlers etc...is that a possibility?
So when logged in, it throws an error when you hit the home link? Every time? Or just after certain actions?Poking around I noticed that the User Control Panel home link returns an error. the rest of the subpages seem to work though once you make it to them and can use the nav

I would moderate a musclemania/flyweight wrestler section...what would that entail? Is it difficult?
