In order to have an open discussion

should the following figures be

upgraded from class a to super rare

most of these figures have only been seen

once or twice some have not been seen

some of these figures are a lot harder

to find than some of the super rare figures

so would it not make sense to upgrade these

figures to super rare

Unless the figure

Has a designation

Of

1:1 then

It should not be considered a

super rare.

Seriously though, if there is more than one known example of a figure, or the sculpt appears on the poster, it should not be called a super rare. The only possible exception to that I can think of is a figure along the lines of the green Bam Bam Ji (M.U.S.C.L.E. #100) that was found in green. Most likely a factory error, it is the only known example of a that figure in that color; a 1:1 ratio.

If the figure is anomalous but legitimate, it is a super rare. Every uncommon figure up to that point is just that: uncommon, or rare.

Correct me if I am wrong, but according to the tree system all of the figures in the first post should logically exist. The examples given may be exceptionally uncommon, perhaps even more rarely spotted than figures such as DM, SHA, BHS, etc., but it is safe to assume that far more than one were produced.

Of course, no system is infallible, and conjecture will always be part of the equation, but I am quite comfortable in my assertion that none of the figures in the first post should ever be considered a super rare.

Basically, what I am saying is that if a figure should exist, but only one example has been documented, it is rare. If a figure should not exist, but one has been documented, it is super rare.

From what was told the pictures got
Sent on but a few of pictures looked
Fake and couldn't be completely
Comfirmed as real figures
some people believe
The figures didn't exist
Or only in ultra small numbers
1 or 2 that is why I asked my question :)

Yes, I am aware of those images, and their questionable legitimacy, but that does not change the essence of what makes up a true super rare. It is the very anomalous nature of their existence that gives them that designation.

Though there are multiple levels of rarity within the line, the SR's will always be a "class" of their own, if you follow ;)

The issue with

Super Rare is not

necesarily the number that appear

But whether it is or isn't on the

poster

and also whether

it is an "undocumented" sculpt of

u

n

k

n

o

w

n

origin

although Satan Cross is not a super rare

it has the other qualifications. It is too common.  But drunken master

is, even though more than one has been

seen.

Those are all poster MUSCLEs

and therefore canot ever

be super rare.

I think everything needs to stay exactly as it is now...no upgrading or downgrading. Nobody gains anything from upgrading other than those who want to sell the figures they might have. Thus making it harder for true collectors.
