I've been making displays for a few years now... about 3 years ago i made this for my flesh collection...
Posted Image

here it is with a few figures in it...

Posted Image

it holds 24 across and has 10 shelves, enough to hold the m.u.s.c.l.e set with a little space for a few more. I'm gonna be selling it on ebay soon if anyone is interested.

Have a price in mind maybe you don't have to sell it on ebay.
Maybe you could just sell it to me here.

Not sure how much the materials cost you or how much labor you have to put into them, but somewhere between $50 and $100 would be a great price, I think.

right now thats the only one i have... but yeah i can make them. what ever color you want... those specs or thinner or smaller... the materials ran me about $50 -$60... (for a paint grade model. cost more for a stain grade `alder, poplar, oak, cherry, pine`) and took me about 10 - 15 hrs... about 3 days off and on. i was hoping to get around $200 for them. but i dunno... i'm new to selling my own work, dont know what its worth... i've been a carpenter for about 6 years, so i know a thing or two and have the tools...

The case is wood? I can definitely see $150 to $200 then. Although that is above my reach right now.

The price range is a bit much compared to what the Chinese would make it for. That's the only problem with an American carpenter building things like this to sale. There is always some outsource group that will make and sell stuff cheaper. That's why the Majority of Furniture and things are made of crap nowadays.

Great job though. I've always made my own personal displays myself. Of course Most of the materials come from scrap. B)

:) That is awesome, I like the way the black one looks a lot more for some reason. I am curious, especially about the larger ones, like the first one you posted, are the shelves strong enough to hold the weight over time or does it begin to bow? These would be good to display my super hero squad and galactic heroes figures too.

Also, what are the dimensions of the shelves themselves? I'm looking at them for MIMPs which I think, are a little taller and a little deeper than M.U.S.C.L.E.s.

well i made the blue one about 3 years ago but all i had on it was some muscles... and that was just for maybe a few months then i moved out of my parents and it just sat after that. i didnt even hang it up. but the shelves still seem strong. i put a dado into the sides and back so the shelves slip in, i glue them and let them set before i even go on to the next step. they are pretty strong too. just dont hang on them. and i made these different, the blue one has a 2" height and a 2" depth. the black one has a 2" height and a 1.5" depth. i can make them to any size or depth, so they can fit anything as long as i make it that size.

i guess i cant say its my last. Cant turn down someone if they want one. My next one tho is going to be a battle beast one. Only problem is i dont have any battle beasts, if someone can give me the dimensions of one, holding his weapon and one with out, that would be great. Thanks.

Also, are all of them the same height? And how many in the american set?
