I've started handing down toys to my 6 year old son.  We fooling with the muscle men and I was wondering what, if anything, they were worth.  Long story short,  I have a black hole sunshine with the plug in the body (i.e. not hanging off the side).  I'm assuming they aren't as desirable as they were in 2007 and couldn't find any info on recent auctions.  Can you guys point me in the right direction?

thanks

When you say with the plug still in the body, are you just referring to a regular Sunshine figure?

With Black Hole Sunshine, you can actually remove the symbol from its chest. It's the difference between a 50 cent toy and a $500 toy.

It's the one with the removable plug.  I'll post some pictures when I get home.

If that's true. I wouldn't bother.

Save them for eBay and get that thing listed. I would start it at $0.99 too. If it's real, you won't have to worry about the final price. It will be plenty high.

Yeah, best bet would be to list it on ebay and then post a link to the auction here.

Wow.  OK. I'm not sure if my son wants to start collecting them or not.  He seems pretty stoked to play with them and I'm getting a kick out of it too.  If he does, it looks like I'll be seeing a lot more of you guys.  Thanks for the info.

Very cool. I don't think I've seen one come up for sale since I started collecting again a couple years ago. I wouldn't let your son get attached to that one, even if you decide to keep it.

Very cool, I wish this sculpt wasn't so rare cause I'd love to add one of those next to the other Sunshines in my display.

Hey I have a Dremel tool, maybe I'll just make my own tonight?
