That does seem to be an extraordinarily high price it got bid up to so I would not be surprised if there was some fake bidding going on. The last box set of these about a year or year and a half back ended up just over $300 if I remember correctly and that had a better distribution of 10 black, 10 red, 10 yellow but with all the hype about these in recent months I wouldn't be surprised if you could get a similar price for this one even though it is mostly the more common black figures.
Also just for the record, it's not a complete set just a box set of 30 figures. There are 48 figures in the complete set as I believe are shown on the back of the box. This is definitely a REALLY nice piece though as no matter how many or few of the figures show up you hardly ever come across the box (especially a box in pretty good condition)! I think this is only the 3rd I've seen since I've been collecting these.

Hi Barry,
I would have taken $300 if they stopped bidding at that. The reserve was set at $199.00. The only strange bids were the two people that new each other but one stopped at like $80.00 so wasn't them either. The auction was perfect till the end when the buyer tried to scam me. After being told by several people not to, it's my fault for letting anyone from Italy bid but if it was just US bidders only then I would have gotten around $360.
I will probably just keep them since they are so cool and rare. If they do get re-listed I surely not welcome anyone from Italy to bid.
Thanks Barry for the info and compliments on these guys.
Best Regards
